Cream Cheese Icing - Part 2
1 8-oz. package cream cheese, softened
2/3 stick butter, softened
3 1/2 cups (1- lb box) powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy.
Gradually add in powdered sugar.
Add vanilla and salt.
Beat until fluffy and apply to cake or cupcakes.
Yield: icing for 2 or 3 round layer cake or a sheet cake.
My Cream Cheese Icing video stopped before I completed the job. But here is the final product --- a birthday cake for a special young woman in our family.
BTW - she was so excited about getting homemade Cream Cheese Frosting on her birthday cake.
