This has been one of my go-to dressings since finding your video a couple of years ago. It is SO GOOD. I always double the recipe. About to make a batch right now.😊 Thanks for sharing the recipe.
What I like the most of your chanel is that you explain so well even the basic things which makes it perfect for beginners or people like me who may need extra explanations to really understand due to mental exhaustion. Thank you! Great channel! 🙂👌🏻😋😋😋
Thank you so much! I just discovered your channel and made this recipe tonight. I put the tahini sauce on top of quinoa with some chopped mint... it was sooo delicious!
I always hoped the internet would be where we share recipes. That looks great. I've recently decided that instead of juicing my lemons, I slice the peel off, remove as many seeds as I can, and throw the whole thing in the blender.
Excellent way to go with the lemons! I used to do that, and it would still be my first choice, if it wasn't for the fact that over the years I encountered a few lemons that made my sauces go bitter. (If they are not optimally fresh the inner skin and/or any seeds can create quite a bitter aftertaste.) So now I rely on the reamer, which is great at getting the juice and most inner pulp out, after removal of most seeds, leaving behind only the white, "inner section separating", skins, and of course outer rind. Thank you for sharing your great comment and feedback!
Uh oh, it just happened. I make a spaghetti sauce that has evolved into a soup without any spaghetti, and today I noticed the bitter taste from having the lemon ground up in it. I can see how it would be even more undesirable in the sauce in your recipe. I think the whole lemon is no longer going to be used. But one note is that as a relatively new plant based eater, I'm very much enjoying the food I eat versus before.
Excellent to hear you are enjoying your food. And yes, experimenting and learning along the way to see what works best is what it is all about :) Best wishes on your continued plant-based journey!
you mentioned we should wash our lemon? if im going to go to the trouble of washing my lemon, i will have to zest the outer peel and throw that into my sauce too! (yummm)
Sure, you can use the zest if you like. However, washing of all fruits and vegetables is important for optimal health regardless if we use their skins or outer parts or not. There are various chemicals and pesticides (even if organic), dust, molds and other microbes on all fruits and veggies, and while we do not want to be obsessive-compulsive in this area and act irrationally fearful (as our world has demonstrated in other areas), it is best practice to handle washed produce anytime we work with them to decrease the consumption of these things, especially the chemical residues.
You are very welcome, Sameena and sorry for my late reply as I am not on RU-vid these days. To make it with raw sesame seeds, you would need a high-powered blender, that can crush and pulverize the seeds down into a sauce-like consistency (not gritty).
Hi Gill, you can find more sauce recipes as follows: 1. The full sauce template is in this video: www.healthytarian.com/post/how-to-make-a-creamy-vegan-sauce 2. Written sauce recipes are here: www.evolvingwellness.com/page/sauces With regards to heating the sauce, there is no need to heat the actual sauce itself for a hot meal. You just pour it over your hot meal or stir it into the hot meal and it becomes warm, without destroying the nutritional value of your sauce ingredients.
I really wanted to make your sauce. The information was great, but I could not find the approximate amounts list during the video and as a newby I found that frustrating.
Thanks for sharing your feedback, D. Please refer to my written recipe for this sauce for specific info about amounts: www.evolvingwellness.com/post/creamy-garlic-tahini-sauce
I love to exercise everyday by mixing variation . I want to become healthier to rest of my life. From your video I understood design of meal like smoothie, whole meal salad, star meal , sandwich / wrap and soup chilli. I just want to know shall I follow all in every single day?
That is great to hear about exercise and healthy living Ranjit. This is what is takes to create a healthy body and excellent wellbeing. All the meals and templates I present are up to you to choose from, based on what will work best for you. If a person eats 3 main meals in a day and 1 or 2 snacks, they can choose which of the meal templates suit them best.
It all depends on how much sauce you want to make. The whole point of the meal template is to give you flexibility. You cannot ruin the sauce. If it is too thick because you have too much sesame seeds, then just thin it out with more water. Usually 1/2 cup is a good starting point to learn about the best quantities for your needs.
For numerous reasons, Gorgette. Citrus, such as lemons and limes have beautiful and refreshing flavors and bring out some of the best flavors in these sauces, especially since they are mixed with neutral or bland tasting foods, like nuts and seeds. Secondly, it adds more nutritional value, especially where vitamin C is concerned, as well as being a potent source of healing and protective antioxidants and phytonutrients. Thirdly, a high vitamin C content helps the body to absorb the iron found in nuts and seeds, and other foods like beans, making this an excellent complement for maximum nutrient absorption.

When we eat a healthy plant-based diet, such healthy fat, which comes from whole plant foods, is not a problem, rather it is a welcome addition. We must have some fat in our diet for proper functioning of all of our cells, tissues, organs, hormones, and neurotransmitters. *The best and healthiest sources of fat are whole plant foods.* The key is just not to overeat nuts and seeds and butters made from them but add them in small amounts to our diet.
Why do you talk so much? Just get to the point? It’s not rocket-science.. However the sauce looks great! Love it with no oil, just wholesome and healthy!👍🏻👏🏼😋
