Cute Cookware and I'm gonna try this recipe cept' for I have no heavy whipping cream. Will regular milk mess it up? Can you suggest a substitute? I get so mad at myself cuz I'll buy the ingredients, use it one time and then it goes bad. I guess I ain't that disciplined cuz I end up wasting certain grocery items. I ain't mad at people who shop for one meal at a time.
Yes you can use regular milk but I would simmer it to thicken it once you add it. Or add 2 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice to your milk and let it sit for 15 minutes. The milk will thicken. I'm that way too with some things like Broth, Whipping cream, Buttermilk, Parmesan Cheese, Tomato Paste, and fresh herbs. They tend to go bad on me before I'm able to use again.
@@AllWingsEverything Me too...those are the same things I waste the most, plus green onions, but I can't resist always buying them. I saw a dry product for buttermilk called Saco Cultured Buttermilk although I've not tried it yet.
Some words just amuse me and I was looking for the same thang, although I've run out of room to store one mo' thang...but I just love gadgets and cookware.
