Love this. Looks super cool. Been looking to do more in Blender and try to move as much as I can away from AE. The workflow with nodes and such is so much nicer.
you're really great at this, love these clear concise tutorials. I'm able to follow along while just listening to most of it as you call out almost every step so well.
WOW! I love the look of this text! It's awesome! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. Give this man a WOO: WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! 😃 I hope you and your loved ones are doing well and I hope everyone has a great rest of your 2022! 😃
In compositing, you could add a tiny bit of distortion in the lens distortion node. It gives you the impression that this is on an old school CRT monitor. Works with the vibe in my opinion.
I really needed to watch this video Ducky! I never got around to using the node editor. I used an emission shader before, and I’ve noticed the saturation washes out or makes edges disappear. This gives me ideas on what to do with my modeling in the future with that shader.
I have a question. The shared is only visible in the ortographic view. In perspective it just becomes whole white emission. What can be done to see it fully in perspective mode?
I appreciate it! Also i should mention that i can create this in after effects less than 5 minutes :(( blender is just a big no for flat animation for me 😶🌫️
I would write a simple Python script to black out alternate lines in the images and then fuse image pairs together again. You could add some glow of the previous lines by adding a weighted previous image
