In this blender tutorial we will be wrapping some text on a curve, putting it in some glass and animate it! Realtime Materials Free - www.blendermarket.com/product... Bad Normals Render Challenge - • THE BIGGEST Blender Co...
Been watching your content for awhile now! Your channel has helped me progress so much in Blender. Thank you so much for all that you do. The blender community wouldn't be the same without you, Keep up the great work man :)
Vertical lines after deforming remesh with curve is due to low curve preview segments. Default is 12. 36-48 or more will be much better. And rotation can be done much simpler with >>apply (ctrl+a) >> rotation to deltas (convert current rotation to delta rotation) >>and then simply keying rotation on z like normal and then >> pressing in any frame window(timeline for example) T to switch interpolation to linear.
Thank you for offering a free version of your Real Time Materials for users to try, I have been eyeballing them for a long time and I am going to get the full set next month. Thank you for everything
I'm planning to buy your Materials they look very nice and I wanted them before I knew you made them. Couldn't find light paths but realized I didn't have Cycles on!
The remaining artifacts are not due to the voxel resolution being to low but rather that of the curve used for deforming. To fix it, select the curve and go to the curve settings (that little green Icon in the Properties Editor) where you can find "resolution U" right at the top.
Another tip is to add a smooth modifier after the re-mesh (and before the curve) on the type layer. This will vastly improve the re-mesh without going too high on the Octree depth :)
guys quick hack , instead of rotating the torus , rotate the camera (if you have background behind it select the camera and the background and rotate them together to get the same angle without doing the extra stuff , and do a normal 360 rotarion to the Torus
This has useful content. In terms of structure, I suggest you deal with the most commonly sought after effects such as animating type on a curve, after that move on to secondary and tertiary effects. It is far more likely that viewers will use aspects of the techniques in this tutorial rather than use it exactly as you have implemented it here.
You don't need two empties for rotation. After parenting everything to the first empty, give the text a 360° degree rotation. Then rotate the empty to orient it as you want for the camera view.
@@billalmetidji6012 Actually, when parenting the text to the torus you don't need any empty at all, just rotate the text and then position the torus. I just explained it with parenting to an empty so that if you have something else than a glass torus where you can see the rotation it can be rotated as well. But since only the rotation of the text will be noticed in the render, you can completely dispense any empties.
Hey Champ! am new here, and I need help to figuring out how I can make the object be in motion because it real stiff. What could I have possibly done wrong? Would really appreciate some help because I'm stuck 🥲
Great lesson. And as always there is a desire to repeat for yourself.))) And it's beautiful and can be altered to suit your needs and damn it looks very cool. And good day, where are my good manners.)))
I follow you and thank you very much for your interesting explanation. We want you to explain to us in some videos how to make a logo and move it in a literal way
When I view the torus in viewport shading after applying the material, I get the glassy look but it's not transparent and I can't see the text. Not sure what I did wrong
For the second rotation, couldn't you have used the local coordinates? By default Blender is set to global. Then you'd only need one empty. Not a big deal, but just a thought/question.
Hey Ducky Big fan of your work. Just tried your tutorial and its looking pretty good, however the object isn't in moving (rotating) at all. What could be the problem? #juststartedlearning
Hello I am a newbie and was wondering in this video can't you make a normal rotation without parenting with axis and instead just move the camera to get the angle you want ?
Hello, thank you for the video. Question: everything is working great except my text is reading backwards :( I can't seem to fix it. Any ideas? Thank you!!
Is there an easier way to set up the spot lights? I cannot for life of me figure out how to aim them down through the Torus, once I have tried moving them. There must be a way to do this using the location windows, is there?
@@York_orz I looked at the Blend-file I was using triangulate in, and it seems I had made the text in Photoshop and exported it to SVG and then imported that svg to Blender. That topology really did good with some triangulation.
Hello. I come with a question because I get to the empty plane part and parent them all, everything is sticked together. When going to animate did just what you did, but my text won't rotate it stays the same. what could it be? D;
Great video man, by any reason when I try to apply the Curve Modifier it doesnt shows me the Bezier cirlce option im working on 4.0 version, if anyone know what could I be doing wrong let me know please
hello nice video! im nearly finish everything, but at the end i click render animation, it didnt animate automatically, it just like a still image :(( plz helppppppppp~~
Does anyone know how to make the background transparrent so you only have the doughnut text? i tried checking the section "film" and then pressing transparrent on but then the background becomes black? Any suggestions?
Can anyone share how we're able to rotate the fonts around the axis of the ring itself? meaning as though the words are inprinted on the surface of the ring and goes around the ring??
