𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 & 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 involves young people from Southampton, collaborating and devising campaigns addressing LGBTQ healthcare disparities and period taboos through creative mediums and youth-led debates and conversations.
Our youth social action programme promotes accessible healthcare, normalising conversations, and creating a fairer society for future generations by designing youth-led video campaigns shared with local stakeholders
During this session, young people from Southampton engaged in powerful conversations with youth leaders discussing healthcare inequities facing the LGBTQIA+ community.
By the end of the conversation, young people generated ideas for the final video campaigns, charged with a renewed sense of purpose.
The youth leaders and participants pledged to continue their advocacy, ensuring that their voices would not just be heard but also drive tangible change.
As they prepare to share their video campaigns with local stakeholders, there was a collective hope that these efforts would lead to more inclusive, equitable healthcare policies and practices in Southampton and beyond.
