I love my small plant milk maker, the Arcmira, but you can make this in your Nutr as well.
The main reason I started looking into milk making machines was to make soy milk easily and with less mess and cleanup. While I usually use my Miomat for a larger batch, I love making a small batch for cooking or when I'm traveling.

I have only used the Arcmira for soymilk. I always use soaked soybeans and have both left the skins on, and off. Either way, no issues, but I prefer to remove the skins. I use 1/2 cup soaked beans and two cups filtered water, always filling to the max line. Never any overflow, but like your video, occasionally a tiny bit of froth residue at the steam vents. No issue whatsoever. I have to wonder what others do to create overflow. Perplexing, because for me, the soymilk and the process are absolute perfection.

I used this method and it was perfect!!

Kathy, I just found your channel because of your Ninja Creami videos and the fact that what you have is plant based. I am so enjoying your channel! One thing I really missed when I went plant based was heavy creamer for my coffee. (I cannot stand most milks in my coffee, they are not rich enough). It took me nearly 2 years to test out all of the plant based creamers until I found Silk Soy Creamer (in the dark blue 'box'). I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! Now I could have a rich and creamy cup of coffee with my Stevia and all was right in the world, (such a first world problem🤭lol!). I JUST got my Arcmira last night and I am trying to find a good or super close recipe to the Ilk Soy Creamer - not to mention all of the other nut milks I will make. Even though it is unsweetened, it actually does have a small amount of sugar, so I will want to avoid that. I thought I would ask if you had any ideas. I have a few, but was hoping you'd crossed this bridge already. Thank you so much, I thoroughly enjoy all of your videos and I have learned so much❣

The arcmira comes with a stainless steel scoop with an attached alligator clip. That spoon is 1 tablespoon, so they call for 6 tablespoons of soybeans. They call for 6 tablespoons for most milk recipes, with 1.5 to 2 cups milk. The do not specify to only go to the minimum or maximum lines in the cookbook. Yet, page 1 of the cookbook, item 1. recommends start making your milk with one spoon full then to add more if you want a denser milk. Those recipes call for creamer amounts in my opinion. Item 2. on page 1 says it is optional to soak your ingredients for at least 4 hours. The words "optional" and "at least" makes it sound like soaking is highly recommended. I set the delay function to soak the soybeans, I usually soak all dry beans 4.5 hours. Also I had a spill over using 6 tablespoons and filling it up to the two cup line. The really annoying thing is that the arcmira instruction manual refers to the "nutr!" You can see that on page 9, Question 2 of the FAQs. Makes me wonder if they are all the same company. I am having issues in making my chai tea. Mainly because all the spices are blended. I set the chai spices, tea and water to boil only. When that is done, and I add my oats and date, and use the warm setting. Or, I add boiling water to the arcmira and use the warm setting. The third way is i set the spices and dates to the 13 minute boil setting, then add the tea and oats on the room temperature setting. So far, my sleepy body is gravitating towards the first setting early in the morning. I think that works good in extracting the spice flavors due to grinding them. I am having huge issues in straining that chai tea. I think a strainer like the one the nutr comes with is needed. My fine sieve tea strainer is too small and messy. If you find something similar to the nutr's on amazon, pls pass the link on. I still am looking. By the way. A huge warning to all: Don't ever do a search on youtube for "nutr" in the search phrase. I was looking for "nutr milk maker" reviews and recipes, hoping to find your reviews and recipes also and other customer reviews on the nutr. The results included youtube thumbnails of videos featuring huge male genitila, and one of a much older gent and a young teen female "doing it" hinting at her being forced and it was a creepy scenario of child abuse in my eyes. 😢 Just don't search for nutr... Somebody needs to let nutr know, and youtube know. I don't know who to contact. The fact youtube allows those kind of videos... Shocking. I settled on the larger arcmira. Thank you for your recipes and reviews. And youtube should never pull up your videos and the bad stuff in the same search results. I know it is not your fault. Just know it was happening, and could still be happening.

Hi Kathy - did I just miss this part - weren't you going to also demo making soy milk in the Arcmira with unsoaked soybeans? I'd like to try that but don't want to burn the bottom of my machine, as one commenter reported.
@elkedrayton6057
Got my Arcmira 2 Days ago and yesterday received my Soybeans. Followed the Instructions Booklet and even used less then the max. It started our bubbling over and after the cycle was done I had pulp only left maybe a drop of Soymilk. Cleaned it up and will return definitely not a Fan on this one. Guess I will stay with buying my Soymilk and using the rest to eat. Love your videos.
@momstheword11
I have never used anything in my Arcmira but dry beans and water. I got an almost burnt crust on the bottom. Is it safe to use a tiny bit of Comet Cleanser in it? Thank you.

Hi Kathy, did you ever try to make rice milk in the Arcmira? I would like to buy one, but will also make rice milk.
