Create is like redstone in that it’s more complex but also easier. Or that’s what I’ve heard. I’m learning too. 😂

I think create is more confusing at first but I believe it's easier to make something on your own rather than a tutorial with redstone

Monkeyfarm you might not see this but I can't believe you're still uploading Minecraft videos. You and Ethoslab are the reason why I got into Minecraft. Coming back to your channel near 7 or 8 years or so later. I can't believe your still on this platform. You were a big part of a 6 year old me and I just wanted to come back and say thank you for entertaining me all those years back. I still don't understand why you killed the pig in every intro though. I wish you best of luck. :)

Luckily, the handcrank got buffed, as now it only require a piece of alloy. Which make it a cheap and effective use to manualy activate machines (and quite powerfull to boot)

Thanks for this tutorial! I was starving for slimeballs in Valhesia 2, and realized I was going to have to try out Create. After fiddling about to no real success for ~10 minutes, I accepted defeat and found...a great explanation video with pretty much all of the basics I needed!

I found this after I found a modpack on curseforge with this mod, the tardis mod and some other engineering mods so i'm just excited to have my own mobile dimension with everything I need automated. Tutorials like this help.

Man I remember first time I played with this mod in survival, I had Quark too which large stone chunks or whatever feature it was enabled. Basically stones like marble and limestone kept spawning in large chunks but basically squeezed andesite out of the little island I started in xD. That was annoying. Couldn’t even find much diorite either so I couldn’t just convert diorite and cobble into andesite.

@@monkeyfarm it's kinda weird how more wool makes it turn faster.. according to the laws of physics, the less air a windmill blocks, and the larger and taller it is, the faster the windmill goes. In the video the windmill takes a lot of space and would be blocking more air than it would be using to move, so it would move slower.

@@notlightbeam4889 I think it implies the wool is a large cloth/sheet that catches the wind... so a larger cloth would catch more wind and spin faster.

I'm sure it's not your fault or anything- but literally none of these power machines worked except the Water wheel. Putting together a Bearing and Chassis, slime-balling it, making wool fins, and then putting a lever on the bearing and flipping it didn't do anything, just sat there. I placed a line of shafts and put a fan over a fire, put a lever on the side, flipped it, and nothing happened. The fan didn't spin at all. What am I doing wrong here dude.

Can anyone tell me how to get the encased fan to spin? I'm using the Valheslsia 3 modpack and the only way i can get concrete is using the stupid fan but nothing i can't for the life of my get it to spin. I've tried lava, campfire, netherack+fire combo, redstone, lever from minecraft and lever from the create mod and the fan just refuses to spin
