Aside from building, this could also be used to transport materials. Want to be able to send diamonds to your friend's base quickly? Make a diamond block, place it, make a schematic for it, point the canon at your friend's base, load the block into the cannon, and fire. The problem is that you need to go to your friend's base each time you want to send a different material with the cannon, so that kinda defeats the point. Still, you could pick a few items that you plan on trading often and set up cannons for those items. For example, you could have a wheat farm that sells wheat to other players so they can make bread. To transport the wheat, you just craft the wheat into 64 hay bales, load them into a cannon, and fire it to one of a few wheat pickup areas on other parts of the map where the canon places them as a 4x4x4 structure of hay bales.
I was just getting ready to start building a wall around my main HQ, and this sounds like the right tool. Do you know if it copies the settings from create machines, though? I'm looking at having it build my gates for me too, and I'm using a sequenced gearshift. Will I have to reprogram it, or have you tried that yet?
So I made the schematic in a server, and I can load it in a single player game. I know this works because I'm getting a hologram of the big ass castle. But when I alt scroll over to the checkmark it just vanishes and nothing happens and I am in creative. ATM 7 final update if it matters
You can change the setting to protect existing blocks, or destroy blocks. So if you want to replace everything, or keep existing blocks, you can do either. I show the settings in the cannon.
I built this in a Create: Astral survival map. The gantry moved and the lava particles appeared but no cobblestone was formed. Then I downloaded your schematic and tried in Creative but had the same issue. When downloading your schematic I noticed it mentioned Minecraft 1.19.x, but Create Astral only uses 1.18.2. I wonder if this is the issue 🤷
Hi! Do you have any idea when Create will be available for 1.15? I really want to update my server for the new version of Minecolonies, however, they pair so well together that it wouldn't be worth doing if I can't have them both. I am having trouble finding any information on the subject

Yes you can probably do that. If the schematics don’t transfer automatically to new worlds, you could manually move the schematic files to the other world’s folder.
Hmmm I wonder if there's a way to copy other people's schematics. Like, say, someone builds a really sweet barricade/wall or house or something and you wanna place that in your own world cause Why Not. It would be cool for them to be able to give you the schematic filefor it. I've been looking for like an hour and haven't found anything like that, but maybe you know something?
Will you ever join the hermitcraft server again? Season 7 is well on its way but you could probably join once 1.16 arrives. Bdubs and Keralis also joined in the middle of a season and you as an og hermit could probably do the same.
@@monkeyfarm I don't know any of them and do you know how hard it is to get your comment to the top if you have less than 1000 subs, never been top comment before and there are at least 800 other comments? A youtuber with the checkmark has a waaaaay higher chance to be noticed and also mybe you still have some contacts to some of the og hermits like Xisuma or JoeHills. I enjoy your create videos too.
