Free HD, but you have a subscription, I never saw your videos with something really free ! That's a real shame, considering blender is open source !?! At least there's some Tutorials showing how to Create Everything free !!! 💥 💥 💥
I do not have any intention to dis you. I just have to point out that making a good looking space scene is about the easiest thing to compose. The things that makes Starwars space scenes so powerful are basicly 3 (4) things: Scale proportions, light settings and camera settings (and ofcause colorcomposing, but that speaks for itself i think). If you can master these 3 (4) things you can basicly take a pencilsharpner and turn it into an impressive starship cruising true space.
I'm following this video with Production Crate assets, but when I added the HDRI, it turned some of my planets and objects gray on the side where the HDRI light hits. How do I fix this?
Free? You should have mentioned how difficult at best, and shady at worst it is to actually get a free asset. InspirationTuts is a goto tutorial source for me, but you should have mentioned this.
VERY sketchy site. Clicked the "FREE" membership level and it still charged my PayPal acct $15 dollars as a "donation". Very few things are "free" (ie; anything of value requires a PRO level membership), and what is free are png files you can literally grab from any png free site, low-res HDR files, and some pretty bad models. Looked for a way to unsubscribe and the only thing you can do is "downgrade" membership, which "cancels your monthly donation".
@James Reilly, this is what Production Crate's team said: Users get 5 free downloads a day. All non-free assets are marked with a star. To sign up for a free account, users must uncheck the donate option. That is a walkthrough video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aFfX7gR9eYA.html
@@InspirationTuts Yeah, I actually did uncheck it and it took me to PayPal where I was assuming it was just creating a means of charging me in the event that I wanted premium content (however, I got charged anyway). Then, when I went through the content, I saw that over 2/3rds of it was "Starred" (ie; not free), and, even though I'd already paid the $15 dollar donation I didn't intend to pay, all of the GOOD starred items gave me a prompt to upgrade my acct to the $35 a month pro-tier. So even if you do the "donate" tier, you're still walled off from a good chunk of the assets (imo, the quality assets).
