I am about to learn how to sew. Have wanted to do it for years, but life and my job just ate into any time for me to learn. I have a machine, so am ready to learn. Naturally, I want to see my own Chanel inspired jackets more than anything. Good grief that's like saying I'm going to start running, let me run for the Olympic trials. But, I am determined to learn. I live these videos. Granted I will havevto start from scratch. But, your idea of using a boxy denim jacket is brilliant. I could get one of those at Goodwill if I can't find a Chanel pattern. Your work is lovely. You have inspired me!

Absolutly fabulous video,I will be doing this .Just one comment for the jacket could you use a different colour lining as it was difficult to see as the 2 fabrics were the same.Its because its viewed oine .But rely great thankyou

Very smart !! Looks really good and much better than when you make it from a straight piece. I want to make a trim for a piece from knit fabric but am not sure yet how to do it. Will be trial and error I am afraid

Ok, I tried to translate your comments so sorry if this is totally wrong. You can make patch pockets and attach to the from of the jackets. you can even add trim to the top edge to make it match the rest of the jackets. just make sure you use a thread that will be invisible to the eye. Hope that helps.
