Great, yet if I wanted to overlay an image texture on a 24” x 36” wall print, I start with a 2mb file export that quickly becomes a 24mb export. Too LARGE. What is a method to add soft textures to large print files, minus the enormous amount of weight??

what if you want to change the color of the texture?

If that's the case, you can give the texture layer a color/gradient/pattern/etc overlay, by either using the Layer Style, or creating a new Adjustment Layer (then linking it to the texture layer). Hope that helps, any.
