Hi Alice, I only found your channel in January 2024, so I’ve gone back to your first video and have been watching in order of dates! My darling daughter in law bought me a crochet bag and Journaling book especially for crochet from Amazon for my birthday last week, as I have been doing crochet for 60 years I didn’t start from then but started from January 1st, isn’t it exciting to put in all the projects! Love your channel ❤ love from West Sussex xxx
Ahh welcome to my little corner of madness 😂 So happy to have you here! You’re only up the road from me (I’m and East Sussex girl). I really need to update my journals as it’s been quite a while since I’ve actually done them! Hope you stick around- hope you have a wonderful week ❤️
Hello again starlight and stitches Thank you so much for uploading your creating a crochet journal video I really like your creating crochet journal is a great idea From Alice Leblanc pusheen channel
@@starlightandstitches I really like do is knitting because my craft project And I love do knitting so much because it's make me feel happy Thank you so much for replying back to me again From Alice Leblanc pusheen channel
Thank you for sharing, this is exactly what I needed. I want to start a notebook of my projects but I needed some inspirations :) Keep up the good work!
I start crocheting when I was a teen before the internet was around. Wish I would have had a journal like this to look back on. I did take some pictures but I never put the information with it.
this is amazing!! i wish i was this organised... my brain is very literal with the saying out of sight out of mind so i forget about almost everything i make haha!!!!
Doing this has reminded me of so much of the stuff I’ve forgotten about- I think if I’m ever feeling rubbish and that my crafting isn’t good enough this will really help to perk me up 😊❤️
What a lovely thing to make, keep and look back on. I used to put my projects on Ravelry, you can add the yarn, hook size, photos, pattern links etc, so electronically that's a good way to store your projects, it can even work out the amount of yarn you used. And similarly, like you, I've got ring binger folders with my patterns in and photos of what I made from that pattern. But now I record it all on a spreadsheet and include the amount of each item I made and how much I sold it for etc. It's quite interesting seeing how much time you've put into this wonderful craft! Keep us in the loop with your updates to the crafty journals x
You’re so much more savvy then I am! I can barely work my laptop- let alone make a spreadsheet 😄 I’ll definitely keep you updated on them as I work through it all! ❤️
Love yr journal idea I just mostly put my makes on Facebook & this year I made my own page Blankets for Rescues as I mostly make Cat & Dog blankets for local animal rescues in my area of Barnsley South Yorkshire all my makes go on there now .
Love your journal, thanks for sharing. I do art journalling and drawing but you have inspired me. I may do a crochet one. Wouldn't be able to do it from the beginning or as accurately as you though!
Love this idea! Right now I'm using Ravelry to log everything but I'm thinking of doing a physical journal along side it. I don't currently have backups of the images or details written down and I'm lowkey a little worried what if one day the site doesn't work and I lose my stuff! I generally love journals so I think this could work well.
I’m such a technophobe! I really like having a physical copy of things so this works really well for me- I’ve seen quite a few people using ravelry to log their projects… I might do it as well if I can get my head around it! ❤️
I've been knitting for many many moons maybe a few more moons 😁 I only wish I did a journal, then I could remind myself that I'm not half good at knitting crochet is a other thing altogether 🤪 xxx
Such a cute idea!! I was thinking to buy a book to collect all the patterns I've used in my past projects and to make notes if I ever want to make anything again. Thank you for showing us! I think I will definitely get onto it, I tried the kitty in jumper pattern that you showed us last time and it went a bit wrong so I gave up! (Yarn I chose was too thick and stiff!) And I found it hard to follow the video so I might actually write the pattern down in the book! 😊😁
I ended it writing it down as well!! There are one or two errors in the video but when I wrote it down it made sense so I adjusted accordingly 🥰 give it another go and let me see when it is done ❤️❤️❤️
What a great idea 💡 you have come a long way. I’m old and still have a hard time . I could never do a care bear . I have no clue what it would look like.🤦♀️
👋 Alice! I have channel suggestions, I absolutely love these new channels I found, and of course I've told them about you😉. KS Mom crochets, Caroline For The Love of crochet, and Craftably Ever After. you might already follow them all but I've been binge watching their videos all weekend.🤣 the amigurumi inspiration is incredible😍. love your journal, I'm totally gonna make one. thanks for the suggestion and inspiration.
@@starlightandstitches I just wanted to give you a heads up. I still haven't received your box yet, however I did just receive my laughinghens yarn that comes from the uk as well. I don't know if that means anything. But I thought you might want to track it if you can. I hope this comes across as helpful and not rude, I'm so not being rude and not upset at all.
I really love this idea. I love how you did yours. I never thought of doing, this and that explains, why I have problems remembering how I did something. Starting today I am going to do this. Very detailed and organized. What do you use to take a picture with?
