How do you unhide the merged plugins if you need to make a new merge with those in it? EDIT: Never mind. It was obvious once I did it haha Thanks for the great video!
I am confused. At 17:00 it states that 425 plugins are active - are those all ESP's? I thought there is a limit of 255 even if you merge them together (i.e. 300 are recognized as 255 through merging methods). Did you surpass that limit by any means and if so - how? Is that limit different in Skyrim Special Edition compared to Legendary Edition?
Many mods have "ESL-flagged" plugins which means they do not count to total 255 ESP limit, but they are still in plugin window to manage load order which is important. Limit for ESL is 4096.
There is a 255 esm + esp limit, you can have up to 4096 ESL - they all need only one esm/esp slot. If you are in the Plugins header and hover over "Active: NUMBER" (the number displayed) in the top right corner you see them listed seperatly. I have to install more mods now, I am at 2260 plugins but still 10 esm/esp under the limit :D But merging is no longer an option, it always fails for some reason with so many errors that I am afraid to touch anything :( My game is still stable, I build ontop of a Wabbajack list (Project Skyrim).

Don’t load more than 254 mods in zEdit. Deactivate mods until you have that number or less, then create a merge, and repeat until you have merged enough mods to be below the limit.
And how does relinking scripts work? You alluded to it being important near the end of the video, and then never mentioned it again. There's nothing else anywhere on the net about it either.
I too would like to know this. I've been looking for a while what to do with the relinked script folder that gets spit out after i run zmerge. my best guess is to zip it and add it as a mod
