In this video I’ll be exploring the story, characters & locations of my Icelandic & Norse inspired Fyrún Region! I’ll go into the real world inspirations behind these designs or locations as well as introduce the Pokémon & characters found throughout the Fyrún Region. As I’ll detail the events of the Fyrún Region’s epic conceptual games Pokémon Brain & Pokémon Brawn just as I’ve always imagined them.

As a Norseman I am a bit disappointed we did not get a Nordic region in Gen 9, I still love Paldea but I would have liked a Norse region. Hope to get one in the future.

Bearzerker's definitely my pick. He reminds me of when Pokemon wasn't afraid to be just a little bit wide. He's got unique ideas, but unlike most modern Pokemon, they're actually implimented well, where modern Pokemon seems to make design choices "because it's creative" without thinking about how they'd look asthetically.

I gotta pick bearry, the reason that I started watching you was because me and my friends were making fakemon and then I made a grass bear starter named Bearry, from bear and bearry, and they said that someone else had already done that. Crazy that an accident can lead me to seeing all of your amazing work! These designs are amazing, and the fan game for the last games seem great! Keep up the great work!

Normally I go with the waterstarters... But I do not like bulky Pokemon that much AND all stages of your firestarter are flawless... I love really every little tine bit of it... The color, the typing, the poses, the progress, the story and the forgeform... Simply the best ^^

One thing worth mentioning, but Sheer force does not remove the Defense drop of close combat like moves, only positive effects are removed. Granted Aqua assault is definitely a go to move for it, but it’s worth mentioning

I’ve commented this before on other videos but as someone in a wheelchair I love the representation of the professor. Can you design my next wheelchair? I also like that she is disabled due to an accident. Unlike myself who was born with my disability, the majority of disabled people become disabled later in life in some way. I don’t know if that was intentional or not but I appreciate the detail either way. I’ve never thought about it before but my favourite Pokémon, Lapras, does not evolve. Maybe there’s something to it.

I would definitively choose Foaloga, not only is my favorite design and I love the inspiration, but it's ghost type, which is my second favorite type (Psychic first, I would definitely choose Brain) My favorite character so far (and probably overall) is Ragnar since I love drag queens, and Drekeon is an awesome eeveelution and pokemon over all (and I would too, not choose any team tbh)

Sheer Force doesn't consider decreasing its own stats as a secondary effect. I would suggest making Aqua Assault a 100 base power move with a 30% chance to lower the opponent's Attack, or something similar.

VIKRABB 100%! I have a few questions: Will there be HM moves or ITEMS similar to them and will those items hinder player progression through the region? If there will be HM moves that must be taught, are there plans to add more than 4 moves to the pokemon's move palette like for example 8 moves if that makes sense? Will there be 3 or multiple save files? These are just questions I wanted to ask if there are plans to make this into a fan game.

I am working on a Pokémon novel series currently and am building a whole world in the process. The main character is from a Nordic inspired region I am creating first. The first novel will focus mostly on that region and the main character's early life, covering childhood, teens, and early adulthood. I may try to convert it to both comic book and screenplay formats later on. The first novel will be written in the first person style, where the main character will sometimes use an old journal to read parts of entries from. At other times the main character will tell stories about her past as if she's reminiscing. This autobiography will go on all while a short main story unfolds in the present time, obviously involving the main character... I wrote like a page and a half description about the book, but am deleting it now because it's a bit excessive lol... I just wanted to say that I subscribed to your channel and will be exploring your content for inspiration, wisdom, and knowledge. Thank you :)

19:44 If you choose pokemon brawn and choose the fire starter, then the colors of the uniforms match up with the starter they use, you get the fire starter, your rival gets the water starter, and the professor gets the grass starter

Yup! Of course. Several have actually already been shown to return either with forge forms (Tortempo, Serenois, Akereign) or regional variants (Voodoll, Natyke, Boarrior, Spidream etc) and more will appear as I show the trainer teams or Pokémon in some of the regions biomes

In the past Iceland used to have no trees. But due to reforestation efforts they now have some forests. Would be cool if that was somehow included in the game

Also, apologizing for double dipping, but it would be wise for Prof. Aspen to set up a battlefield in the lab as to avoid knocking anything over or shorting out the computer servers to avoid losing important data or having it corrupted.
