This team would pair really well with an "evil" team I came up with. Their whole premise is trying to show the world that Ghost and Dark type Pokémon are not necessarily evil. But because of the fact they like Dark/Ghost type Pokémon everybody hates them and calls them an evil team.

People who shared that idea but could never say so out loud. I made it a safe haven for those people. We'd planned on striking back against those who think Pokémon's strength is determined by looks alone. Or rather, back at society. Don't you get it, [Player]? Society is what forced our hand in the first place!" Assuming you're not mashing A to skip through her dialogue, she ends up close to the player around the "society forcing her hand" line. "Yes, they forced our hand. We'll force them to realize that cute Pokémon can be strong. Stronger than any of those UGLY . MUCH stronger. "What, the Pixie Puffs? Ahahaha! Why do you think we sold those in the first place? I told you! Our aim is to make a world where every Pokémon is cute! And what's cuter than a newly hatched Pokémon?" (Player says some equivalent of "you're poisoning them") "Poison is such an UGLY word! Let's call it...chemical. Still not cute but less rude than poison. The Daycare and Medical Research Lab's contributions were very helpful in that regard. Their data could provide for a much more polished Pixie Puff recipe." She pulls out some kind of device. "See this? When I press this button here, the Pixie Puffs chemical within all the Pokémon will activate, reverting them to their freshly hatched stage of life. But that isn't everything. They will also emit a mist - a Pixie Dust, if you will - that will affect any nearby Pokémon who did not eat any of our wonderful Puffs. "There's a purpose to this, [Player]. I said I want to make every Pokémon cute. Or as cute as they can be, some are beyond redemption, but we still try. And when there's nobody left? That's when we step in. "Oh, but I can't let you leave with this, can I? Equivalent exchange laws say you have to pay back for this information in full." You are challenged by Pixie Dust Leader Shayla.

I feel like it would be a good idea to call Team Pixie Dust "Pixie Dust Corp." or something that doesn't have "team" in it. Since literally every evil team so far has "team" in it, you kinda expect them to be evil..

Now that The tinkaton line exists, I think it would be a PERFECT ace for Shayla! It’s a cute looking Pokémon with a violent nature, just like team pixie dust. It’s fairy type, too! Along with steel, which could represent team pixie dust’s immunity to being called out or exposed prior to the mass baby-fying of all Pokémon.

People: So, Michael, what’s your pokemon evil team? Michael: *Creates next gen* Game Freak: Oh, well, thanks for doing our job for us

My friend and I have THREE Teams that we were very invested in. The first is Team Revive who are obsessed with fossils and ultimately, want to capture Genesect. They have a special improved, fossil revival process that removes rock-type contamination and is closer to how the pokemon were BEFORE they died out. So the fossils they use are special "Revive Formes" and have different typing. There would be a scene where the champion of the region is seen working with Team Revive (as he is a scientist) as well as one of the two professors in the game (the husband of the one who gives you your starter) The Second is Team Muzzle, who believe that pokemon Evolutions are dangerous and evolving pokemon should be banned (along with some more dangerous unevolved pokemon). They have a device on their pokemon that prevents them from gaining levels (there would probably be a point where you are lent a pokemon with a move that removes held items and told to THROW the fight to force them to evolve). At some point, they would test a device that has a terrifying effect, it LOWERS your pokemon's levels, potentially even DE-EVOLVING pokemon! That's kinda similar to Team Pixie Dust in effect. This one started as a joke (The Leader is named Karen lmao) but the idea of de-evolving your pokemon is scary, especially if it happens later in the game, but before you have fly. The third one is Pristine Pokemon Inc, which sells "perfect pokemon" ideal natures, perfect IVs sometimes even shinies (with the same level of perfection). They'd be too expensive for early game, but by mid game? You might be able to get one. Turns out, they are basically pokemon eugenicists, who think pokemon without perfect stats shouldn't exist since they only taint the genepool, besides, a random pokemon could never be as good as a "perfect" one, right? So they think they are doing POKEMON a favour. (this is more of a "dark anime" type one. We don't actually have any issue with people who breed competitively perfect pokemon, we just think it could be an allusion to puppy mills and as I said, eugenics. My friend tried resetting for an adamant female Grookey and wanted one with a good characteristic as well) As a reward for reading all of that here's a plot twist: Team Revive isn't evil! They are genuinely invested in restoring pokemon to their best selves so they might have an easier time surviving. They HATE Cara Liss (who is an ousted member) and probably eventually would rehome the already revived Galar Fossils after you promise that you understand that they deserve to live out their natural lifespans, even if they might be short. Though I think they would probably be able to revive the ORIGINAL pokemon those fossils are of as well. I imagine this would only be possible in the post-game. Team Revive is believed to be evil by one of your RIVALS, who is from another region originally and he assumes the worst, even at one point breaking into one of their labs and stealing the revive formes of the two fossils you get to choose from in my game (he keeps the other, thinking it noble to crush them with the very pokemon they created). The Champion is probably an Admin as well, though he mostly has his own field of interest and just helps out. The Professor studies Pokemon Conservationism and that's why he's involved with them.

I would expect that with an evil plan like that, the Legendaries have to be based on some aspect of growth and change, or beauty and appearances. And just like how looks can be deceiving, they're both not how they appear, but both will surprise you and change their attitude. Also great idea: possible have one be epic and cool and the other cute and cuddly, but the cool-looking one is fairy and the cute one's like dark/steel or whatever.

If you want a more ironic take on Shayla's Final Encounter, perhaps the legendary is a repulsive looking Steel/Poison type. Perhaps it's an ancient, draconic creature whose mouth foams in poison, kind of a Fairy Killer if you think about it It would mostly be inspired by the evil villains of most fairy tales, so it's design would hinge on that. Although if you want a more cool looking design, perhaps base it off of Purple Haze from JoJo Part 5 Perhaps it's signature move is also based off of Purple Haze; Corrosive Fist And if you truly Want to give Shayla the sendoff she needs, it would be extremely ironic if she meets her end in the hands of this Legendary, who's nature of pure, unbridled rage causes it to use it's hazardous poison on her, melting her to sludge It's Pokedex entry could also symbolize that; "This Pokemon only appears in the bleakest of days, as everything close enough to it are immediately reduced into black sludge" I honestly prefer this Legendary for your custom region as we don't have any truly evil Legendaries other than Yveltal and Necrozma. Another Legendary who's evil in nature could be a breath of fresh air

The legendary here is likely either a Steel or Poison type(for obvious reasons) and could be called the japanese word for Venom or Blade. Steel and Poison type changes for the two games these two could star in called Pokemon Shine and Pokemon Gloom. Shines legendary: Appearance: It has steel wings like Skarmory and a very thin body with Black Armor and Silver Flesh. It's eyes are Bright White, It has steel dorsal plates which charge energy appearing black that release It's signature move. Signature move: Iron Talon Tear. It's Dorsal plates charge energy that release into It's wings and release sharp winds with Iron Shrapnel. The shrapnel remains which has the effect of a Stealth Rock. Glooms legendary: Appearance: It resembles a Skeleton version of the Shine Legendary. It's gut has a large amount of Poison resembling a Venoshock ball. It also has Plates but they appear on the wrists. The Skeleton is pure Black like it melted from the inner poison and when charging It's Signature move the Gut Poison glows bright Purple and flows across the skeletons arms in patterns like Veins do up to the Plates. Signature move: Ultravenom Tear. It dashes at It's opponent and climbs onto the back slashing the nape, spine, and back of the legs multiple times. This inflicts the Poison status effect. How the two revert the Babyfy effect: They each appear to charge their signature move but instead use it on their foreheads. They likely use the energy of a nearby Psychic Pokemon that is either babyfied or part of Shayla's team or a third legendary that's psychic type and use it to Ram into the Antennae filling it with their energies and reversing the signal effect. How the two relate: Before, they were both the same Steel type pokemon however only the one in Shine actually went into Hibernation to preserve their body. The other did not and instead wandered around aimlessly for decades. It lost in a fight to any kind of poison type to a Venoshock and It's body slowly melted as it finally decided to go into Hibernation. This led to it becoming a skeleton surviving purely on the Poison. The two are also siblings with the male having died and the female having hibernated. Please send name suggestions in replies.

Man. I would really love for Mikey to do more Pokémon themed story videos like this one. He has a real knack for story telling from how this played out. And I would love too see what else he could come up with. Maybe in the dry periods between Pokémon releases he could do stuff like this. Could be fun. Though if he doesn't want too for various reasons. I won't be upset cause this video and concept was awesome.

12:21 I could imagine if this was real, during the snowstorm situation, here would be the in-canon reasons for not being able to make it back. Fly: (as Mikey said) The snowstorm is too fierce to navigate through the air. Teleport: The user is unable to concentrate enough power to teleport far enough due to the rough snowstorm. Dig: The snow is too thick and builds up too quickly for the user to tunnel through (also they have no idea where to go even then). Escape Rope: wtf are you meant to do with that in a snowstorm? (I already question how this canonically works at all)

I had a great idea for Shayla's ace for the final boss: Grimmsnarl It's a Dark/Fairy-type which fits the 'fey' part of her organization but it's not necessarily cute. In fact, it's kind of ugly. Like Shayla's true personality.

This needs to be a movie, and if it becomes one, i need to see it.

I love this evil team! I love how they're an example of not judging a book by its cover and that they gaslight the player. Pokemon should take notes.

I would consider them evil right away. Or at least terrifying. Their pink outfits and big smiles would remind me of clowns.

i feel like this might be too dark or crazy for a pokemon game, but what if the pixie puffs affected humans too? maybe the puffs could be sold to humans as well as pokemon as a special nutritious treat, but when the puffs are activated, the humans who ate them are de-aged into babies (specifically babies bcs we alr know toddlers and children are capable of pokemon battle). you are now the only human in the region who can do anything to stop them, and you are all alone.

Even 2 years later, I keep coming back to this video because this idea for an evil team is so awesome!

Sure, your reputation kept me from proving anything, and you were able to take out the trainers, but I still had a few friends. My pokemon, the only ones that believed in me, never stopped fighting for me. Because, Shayla, you forgot one thing. You thought strength was the best, that might makes right. But... *Friendship and teamwork beats it.*

Finally someone who agrees with me that the Aether foundation isn't an evil team!

Imagine just asking someone 'what's your evil pokemon team?' expecting an answer like the type and their motive and the boss, but then get this 17 minute long plot of a whole game.

People in the story: There's no way Team Pixie Dust is evil! Me: Want me to record it for y'all?

This is amazing and can I just say the way the story ends with the message about doing it, not alone, but with the pokemon, made me sob? The story is so in depth and good, I would KILL to see this be made official or at least see a fan game made about this!!

This is a better story than most of the regions. Edit: 1k likes..? Now this, this is an epic gamer moment.

I get I'm 3 years late, but I have some ideas for the legendary Pokémon: 1. A steel/poison typing. Not only is this a total fairy-slayer typing, but it is immune to 1 type, it resists 9 types (which is HALF of all types), and is only weak to 2 types (Fire and Ground, which are types Team Pixie Dust probably won't use) 2. Instead of having a different legendary for both versions, have it be the same Pokémon but with a different form for each game. The legend changes form based on a held item 3. Have the Pokémon being bullied early on be the Legend in disguise. This legend is extremely beautiful and powerful, but it is only respected for this reason. Therefore, it uses its poison on itself to make itself ugly and weak so it can be respected for its personality and charitable nature. 4. Have the poison in Pixie Puff come from the Legend. This would be intresting, because the grunts would have a reason for bullying the legend in the first place. Also, the legend would also produce the antidote. 5. The legend only reveals it's true form to people who respect Pokémon for what they are, regardless of appearance or strength.

Another plot point! Durring the ceremony, one person, with his stoutland, shouts after the speech about pixie puffs, saying “if pixie puffs are so healthy, than why did my stoutland get sick with an undiscovered sickness for a MONTH!?!?”And shala gets nervous, nervously saying “it must be some kinda allergy! There’s no way healthy pixie puffs could do that!!!” And some of the crowd gets suspicious. And durring the team pixie dust takeover, you see the same teen, with a not changed stoutland, and all of his Pokémon are healthy to! He explains how his Pokémon are not changed. As his stoutland was his first Pokémon to have a pixie puff, and after the terrible sickness that it went through, he never bought any more. He uses his altarea and leafeon to heal up the Pokémon from the coughing and some of the poison. Once you get up there, he uses the altara to fly up and help you out, challenging shala to a double battle. And the rest of his Pokémon ( other than the reveled leafeon, altarea and stoutland ) are dusk Lykenrock, emolga and samorott. After beating her, she heals up here mega wiggalytuff and is about to use it to blast you off the building, but as she’s mega evolving it, he says, screw your mega, and sends out his samorott and your starter, to BLAST HER OF THE SKYSCAPER! Until a helicopter catches, about 80 feet down.

I love how as a kid you essentially created Team Sky before it was ever really a thing. Destiny at its finest!

When I was young, I had an idea that every gym leader and elite four and champion has an eeveeloution. And the evil team leader had a Sylvian and the team specializes in fairy. I was surprised to see this.

I was watching D20Live DnD at Conbravo and in their Pokemon Campaign they had team Genesis (outfits were stereotypical Newfoundland outfits) and their goal was that they hated human reliance on Pokemon so they sought to remove them from the world. However, understanding their involvement in the world would only cause problems if removed, they worked on experiments to attempt to give humans the same powers that Pokemon have. They had a large fascination with Ditto for their research.

Some decent ideas to go along with this story 1. You don’t have to fight a gym this game. After you beat team pixie dust, the elite four and Pokémon league affiliators allow your straight into the league for your incredible feat 2: you should have a rival. He/She could have a different personality from other rivals, but for simplicity, I’ll just use Barry (because sinnoh freakin rocks.) but even better, Barry is the only person to actually believe you are telling the truth about team pixie dust. In some cases, you could also double battle the grunts with him by your side. 3: since Shayla wants to deflect blame off of team pixie dust, you do actually get a prize just to make sure no one still would believe in you. It should be a fairy Pokémon for sure, but with decent IV stats. I would say probably a Togepi, so you can have a good Pokémon later on if you train it up.

I was expecting to hear an arc where Pixiedust paints you as the villain since you were conveniently at the location of all their crime sprees, but this was very well made! 10/10 would play.

With his hatred of Miltank, I'm surprise he didn't think to make that a Fairy/Dark type boss monster for his evil team idea (potential regional variant type change/uniquely the only regional variant that could Mega evolve).

Another background of team Pixie dust could be that the leader once hadthe ugliest pokemon who she found cute and got bullied for that. As she abandens the ugly pokemon a cute fairy type sees her crying and becomes her friend. Now team pixie dust's goal is to wipe out every other pokemon typevand keep the fairy type only. Ironically they use Unown for that which is psysic type but hey since they use cute and fairy type and Unown is a cute Pokemon it's kinda logical. They might use Xernias and Yveltal for this as well because they are the pokemon of life and destruction and Xernias is fairy type. The story will take place in kalos where the fairy type was introduced.
