I admire all of you who post your videos, foibles and all. We all run into these moments and it's always great to see someone else problem solve. Thanks, Gayle!
You are hilarious! I had such fun watching you make the folio. I finished one this morning to organize all my Tim Holtz stuff. What a great idea. Now, off to make another. Such fun! Thank you for sharing and for your humor. You make the day a little bit brighter!
Your craft session reminded me of mine on Sunday. I have made a traveller's notebook for my daughter and needed to sew in the signature. First the thread broke. Found some that was stronger. Then the needle broke. Replaced it with another. Had a coffee! Sewed the signature. Hurray!! Opened the book and found I'd stitched the cover on upsidedown. More coffee AND chocolate. Purely for medicinal purposes! Finally succeeded and she loves it. Definitely a day like yours Gayle.😁
I have been looking for these folios on Etsy and several sites and couldn't find them. Thank you so much for this totorial. You are such a great organizer. I enjoy watching you videos, you always laugh at yourself and so do I. Love you
Haha. I loved your comment about the accents. I’m from the Midwest but I’ve been binge watching videos the past couple weeks so now I think and talk to myself with a cross between a British and Aussie accent!
Love your style! Makes me watch till the end of the video because you are a real world crafter, just like those of us watching! Even as an instructor you are going, “oops! Ah, it’s fine!”
I'm so glad to be able to watch all your video's. I'm smiling and learning! If you ever have bad glued paper again, you can try to put the whole thing in the microwave. I did that with my cooking book wich was wet. It stayed wet and all pages were lose. Thats how I found out. Thank you for sharing everything you do!
😂😂😂 I have just watched this for probably the 3rd time over several months, each time my dog gives me the weirdest looks because not only am I laughing like a drain, I'm yelling for you to pull the tape off! One of these days I will actually get round to making a folio for myself. Thank you for being educational & entertaining.
You were so fun to watch tonight. I loved that you found humor in what was going wrong. I talk to a lot of people and they get so upset at mistakes so its great to see someone laugh.
Gail this was my first Video and I swore at times I was watching myself. I love how you laugh at your your bumbles. You are a joy and I can’t wait to watch more of your videos!
Oh Gayle it is so fun to watch you. Not alone for the bumbling but for your beautiful projects, your ability to laugh and go with the flow and your positive disposition and love for beautiful materials. It's heartwarming. Love, Karin from the Netherlands
Of course we will be watching! We bumble through all the time 😂 it's nice to be reminded that it's not just me, but even the best can bumble through and still laugh at themselves. Thank you! For the bumbling!!! 😍😘🤗
I don’t feel so bad now......I make sooooo many mistakes when I craft. I’m glad u left them all in. You are a pleasure to watch!! Keep it real...love the paper...I have it too! And I had the same problem with the pages.
Another fantastic video! I can't tell you how much I enjoy watching you create. Thank you for being such an inspiration. I'm just starting out with journaling and this idea will help me keep things organized because what I'm doing now just isn't working. Seeing you "bumble" shows me that I don't have to be perfect. 😊
Reting up from surgery and I l've was binging on how To's today. I came across this video and it definitely made my day. Smiling as iwatch on. TY for the how to but more so for your sense of humor as you made mistakes and kept going.
I just found this video (though I've been watching all your current ones...in the summer)...and I'm loving the Bumbling Crafter! I'm loving this project and how fun it always is to watch you create. Thanks so much for smiles and all you're teaching me.
Oh my dear Gayle! Thanks for sending me to this video. I was giggling with you and I never notice that the tape was a peel back!!!! I just love your sens of humor.
Thanks for referring me to this video, it was just what I was looking for! I got so tickled at you getting tickled at yourself .....lol. We all have those days....and we just have to laugh it off. TFS
Once again you're killing me. I was shouting to peel the paper off the carpet tape but I guess you couldn't hear me. I'll shout louder next time. It really turned out beautiful despite the bumbles. No worries there.
Erika Prater I was yelling from Australia and laughing so hard , I was waiting for her defugilty (if that’s how you spell it) comments . Cracks me up. Cxx
Thank you again, Gayle! You say you might have goofed up but all that cutting and measurements, can’t do the measurements like you! You did all of the hard stuff great! And look at your new folder! Can’t wait to see the end and what you put in it. My bits and pieces are in baggies now and I have to get the basket out and fish thru it all to find which baggie I need. Perhaps I can do this too, who knows!
you say you hope no one is watching for the first time and lo and behold, I'm watching you for the first time. You had me chuckling out loud. My husband couldn't figure out what was going on. You are absolutely charming. Great video. :)
Gayle I love you! This WAS my first time watching you and I thoroughly enjoyed giggling with you in all your bumbling. We all go through it at some time or another & it’s nice to see that you are not the only one. Thank you for sharing your stumbles and bumbles.
This is absolutely awesome gorgeous lady!!!....I love this to keep all my ephemera...I will make about three....thank you for sharing!!!...Huge hugs and love....Maxxii-Michelle....Perth... Western Australia xxxxx
I went on Amazon to order carpet tape while watching your video and couldn't, for the LIFE of me find any that wasn't double sided tape! Thank goodness as I continued watching, it made sense! Poor Gayle.... but you made it work! I probably would have torn it apart to try and fix it the way it was supposed to be! Love your video and am looking forward to giving it a try!
'Bumbling Crafter'! LOL You are a hoot, Gayle! I'm glad you posted this particular process! I had made a little journal for my granddaughter, using pamphlets from a doctor's office. The pages were attached via a plastic spiral. Then, I inserted other pamphlets, attaching them to the spiral pamphlet's pages. Gluing and painting the pages cause the little tabs that connect to the spiral to tear. I figured I needed to bind each page separately into a new binding system. I made a 'spine' out of multiple layers of card stock. I wasn't sure how to proceed. Now, I know! Thank you and BLESSINGS!
I love you and your laughing ways. It gives me a thought that I can do this too. You brought me sunshine to my face as it's been a rough week. Thank you so much for being human and letting us all know we can be human too. Just keeping a "cool" thoughts and go with the flow. It's been a pleasuring watching you today.
I LOVE that you share everything-even the bumbles. And I love that you can laugh at yourself the whole time, Your projects are beautiful and your videos are so much fun! Thanks so much for sharing your talent!!
You are priceless! This video just made me smile ear to ear and brightened a very gloomy day. And what a great, space-saving, organized way to store all our bits and bobs! Thank you for being the bumbling crafter!
😅A peek into a crafter's day! I love the idea of creating a folio to organize the bits and pieces that give a special touch to our creations! It turned out lovely, and it's inspiring too. TFS it, Gayle! And don't worry about the mishaps, in crafting there are no rules. "Mistakes" give us additional opportunities for CREATIVITY.
Wow this is wonderful. I’m going to make one. I absolutely love your videos and your humour. You make a bad day for me into a happy one! Thank you so much.
Yep first time watching... love it. Thanks for reminding us, we are all human. And even the best make mistakes that are fixable and keep moving forward. Loved loved loved the video.
@@gayleagostinelli_ct wouldn't miss it. I love that you show the human side and that you are not afraid to show the real side of life. It gets discouraging to watch and everything goes perfect for the other person and then when you start things go astray. I Loved It! Reality with real person crafting always equals beauty!
Oh my word now I love watching your videos! I get my daily does it endorphins laughing out loud! I too was telling you, don't you want to peel off the backing on the tape? Then I thought maybe I misunderstood what you said and it wasn't carpet tape!!!! It's a gift to be able to laugh at ourselves, especially when we snort! Love you and your videos!
Lol . I'm so glad to know that I'm not alone . Bumbling crafter here too . Love that folio . Been wanting to make one myself thanks for inspiring. Hugs Kat
Simply beautiful just shows that crafting can be fun and things don't always go as planned. Love this so many people watch videos and get discouraged and everyone isn't perfect just make your own.
Actually I was watching it for the first time 😂 and considering that it’s for 4 years ago I believe, I don’t know what is going on with this channel now a days but I know that I will definitely subscribe and I will continue watching your videos (if still available of course) from now on. First of all I really like your way of showing the mistakes and how they can be corrected. It’s so important to know how to fix something in the process that is not perfect. You could easily edited the video and make it look like none of them happened at all but the fact that you showed the footage of mistakes and also the solutions too. So thank you so much for sharing this video. And your positive energy is so appreciated too
Thank Gayle l really enjoyed this video it was very useful, but l also lm glad lm not the only one who bumbles through videos at times, you made me smile. Hugs Susanna xx 😊❤
I can't tell you how many times vie tried to straighten my tape and done exactally what you did. I love it. We are all human aren't we? Lola. I love the paper you used. Thank you for sharing..
I was looking for ephemera folders and there you were...answering the call from four years ago. I laughed so hard at your "bumbling" (which I excel at, by the way) but when you realized you had not exposed the carpet tape on the spine, I lost it and almost laughed till I cried. Blessed are those who can laugh at themselves, for they will be constantly amused. At 73, that is my motto. This was a good video, regardless. It is one for the Gayle Agostinelli archival hall of fame!! haha
Such a great, fun video Gayle. It's nice to be able to get a laugh with you. I like the idea of making pockets to hold small ephemera so I'll have to get to work.
Gayle, you crack me up! I thought I was the only one who made all those mistakes!! LOL! Well, we will remember this one every time you pull it out for ephemera, and we will remember the fun we had watching this! And knowing we're all in the same rowboat!!
Omg I'm laughing in bed and woke up my hubby. You would of had a hard time getting the paper off the tape anyway as you had the tape overlapped!! Was waiting for that...lol thank you Gayle. Hugs
