Your niece Letty did an awesome review of the amazing play area & Nester looks like he is learning so much. What wonderful opportunities for family involvement with so much progress and innovation!
When I first started watching your videos back during the pandemic Nester seemed like such a sweet and interested kid when it came to animals and nature. It's so lovely seeing him still interested in that and he seems to have gotten so tall. From the little I have seen him in your videos he seems like a very lovely person and you must be so proud of the young man he is becoming.
GREAT JOB ON THE PLAY AREA! IT IS INVITING EVEN FOR ADULTS LIKE ME ALSO! NICE TO MEET LETTIE SHE IS LOVELY! NESTOR IS A GREAT ADVISOR TO THE REWILDING PROJECT! LOVED SEEING HOW THE PIGLETS ARE GROWING!
This is 💯🥰. I love the Lost Village! Definitely a solid “10”! Your niece is such a confident and lovely Girl 😊. Of course, Nestor is such a fantastic addition to all of your videos! I’m sure you’re quite proud of him ♥️
Nestor is Julie's twin! I am happy to see the kids involved around the space! I wish they would do some more of the natural play areas at our local wildlife center.
Play area looks great, thanks Letty for your rating. I suggest you include a few things. 1) a covered trashcan in the picnic area 2) a soft bell to ring at the school house and/or church 3) an opening in the posts or a container fastened to each post for small squares of paper and a crayon or two
Love all the restoration work you are doing around your property! I hope other places in England are doing similar things. I'd love to visit Mapperton one day when I can afford the flight from the west coast of the U.S.!
great play area and your niece did a super job of trying everything out and rating it! always good to see the little piggies and all the different types of work needed to keep mapperton wilding up and running.
I’m not a child but I’m loving the play area and Letty is adorable. Luke you are a real sport for trying the swing out! I’m sorry I laughed!😂 The exact same thing would have happened to me, or worse, if I were brave enough to give it a try. 😂
Put photos of this village on a yearly calendar. Put photos of each part/section of the estate on a yearly calendar as well. And even on some other products. Create floral patterns using garden flowers and plants to create prints for wallpapers, sheet/bed sets, comforters/duvets, and fabrics for clothing, etc.
Princess Grace Kelly had some of her floral arrangements put on sheets. I think this is a perfect business for any estate to create to bring in support to maintain that estate. And why stop at sheets? Why not put the prints on walls, clothing, notebook covers, etc. (A lot of people make good money creating "passive income" products. Both digital and physical products. {I have a Passive Income playlist I created for information to inspire me for future projects.})
Take a leaf out of Aussie places for parents/carers and give them an electric BBQ! In South Aussie we are not allowed open or wood fires, so we are provided with electric BBQs. Nice when out n about in parks n parklands. Just bring your own snags or lamb chops ( or if you make them have to buy), and hotdog buns and a good salad, cook n enjoy with the kiddies.
Love the lost village. Simple pleasures are the best. The floral and insect examination was super interesting! Would love to see a wooded area examination too. Chris! Show us a closeup of your tattoos! What's the story behind them? Sorry if I'm being nosey
So nice to see Nester involved in so many activities. Amazing what he is able to learn. The playground looks like so much fun. Thanks so much for sharing.
I do like the playground, it’s nicely natural, but I can only hope it’s not full of accidents waiting to happen. Just one example, spiraling swings are not a good idea. My fingers can attest. It’s one thing for kids to play in the woods. It’s another thing to create a manmade dangerous play space, sanctioned by an organization. Idk. I do hope for only good things happen there!
Great expert ratings. You need a bell for the school, and a cabinet on a log, vertically, for the paper and crayons. Letty is so adorable. The RE wilding project is my favorite thing happening at Mapperton. Great vlog.
I absolutely loved this episode! I love seeing your children i also enjoyed learning about the dangers of that weed getting mixed in the hay, and how dangerous it is to the animals. I loved catching up on the children’s park man you killed it on this episode lots of information five star rating on this one.!!!
I think you need a little more mowing in the area and fencing my around the playground. I got lost in a park when I was a little girl and it was frightening.
A good video. I found the quadrant maintenance interesting, i did not realize so much information could be found in one little square. The gentleman certainly knew his wild flowers and grasses!!!
so so interesting in the meadows. i was experimenting in my own tiny city plot because traditional grass is water sucking, and can’t be sustained with extreme heat, which we’ve been experiencing more and more. i’m amazed at the number of species that are out there, and it’s remained generally green without artificial watering, whereas traditional lawn is usually browned and dead in a hot August.
Congrats On A Fabulous Show Guys!)))…N Congrats on the Fun Filled Lost Village Play Area!)))…❤️Love It All!)))) I Always LOve the music that ya’s choose Too! Love from across the pond ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Jacqueline ⭕️⭕️⭕️⭕️
A lovely episode, thanks. And such good and natural work from the young folk. I really do think Nestor is a standout talent addition to the family, whether it’s behind the camera or in front of it. I did like his easy introduction to his segment. I do look forward to Mapperton episodes. 🤗
Some families just got ALL the good looking genes! Sorry that's such a shallow and facile thought. True though. That woodland playground looks entrancing. I'd have been there for hours as a kid. Great family attraction. Lettie has got good presenter skills. That Ben was SO FUNNY. He never seemed to be near where the ragwort was! I think it's actually poisonous when it's alive but not when it's dried in the hay,but the animals don't like the taste of it,so it puts them off eating the hay. I think the grazing animals try to avoid eating it when it's growing in the field but if it gets hot and dry and all the grass goes brown they eat it in desperation and then die. I think that's how it is. I used to have it grow in my old garden as I liked the beautiful, intricate curly foliage and the brassily glaring yellow flowers. But I lived in a suburb way away from any horse locations.
😎 Wonderful to see the beautiful Woodland Play area finally ready after so much work. But my very best scene was to vicariously cavort with those fantastic adorable pigs - my favorites of all of all !! 🐖🐖🐖🤪❤🎉
Maybe it might be an idea to have Le Chameau to sponsor the play areas as well, particularly as conditions have the potential to get wetter / muddier 👍
and already your play-school has already been visited by German children who gave each other a „Verweis“ or reprimand 😂 quite stern teaching happening there
