Not only was this the TYPE of video I needed to help me with my own underground prefab, but this was a pretty cool design as well! I appreciated how thorough you were for somebody starting to dip their toes into the prefab world. Thank you and great job!
@@The_Lunitar thank you for offering, because I’m actually going to take you up on it! After watching you video, I was hyped to make a great underground base. It was epic…but when I hit escape, SAVE was grayed out and it wouldn’t let me!! I exported it as that was the only thing it would let me do, but I don’t really see it anywhere. So…ideas on why it wouldn’t let me save? That was wasted time and now I’m gun shy to try again. Ugh. Thank you again!!
Thanks for the video. I’m just getting into prefabs. Your moat base was the first I actually installed to a map. Playing on Darkness Falls, it’s been a life saver. Anyway, thank you again and I look forward to seeing your other videos.
@25:45 - The plate would have been fine if you wanted somethign like a wood trim around the base of your outhouse, or better yet poles and corners, but if you wanted it flush, you should have gone with sheets here, as they are so thin they barely show a lip
Hi 👋 Lunitar Thank you for your clips, shareing some useful info here, so much to understand. I have built my own trader poi in creative, really happy with it, Iv set the trader area to true but it’s still destructible. Iv spent hours trying to figure out where Iv gone wrong. Is it still possible to do this after the last alpha??
It should be, I did it with the town prefab on my current community sever. will need to be true, but if you have sleeper zombies in it, you might not be able to make it a trader area, unsure of that though. You could link to a zip file in our discord or pm me and I can look at it.
@@The_Lunitar yes I would like to learn how to make Prefabs that can be assigned categories and I can control spawn weight etc. Currently I only know how to manually import them because of you though I have learned how to fix and tweak broken ones that have the RWG parameters similar to compopack a19 conversion. However I don't know how to make em from scratch. Also I still don't quite get helper blocks. 🙂
@@richardvanderpool5916 You have to be able to go into world editor with it and add it. So you'd have to back up the world alter it and replace the server file with the new one.
