@@NedRush Ned, i'm pretty sure i'm still hearing impedance mismatch issues. To record it properly I highly suggest using a direct box, definitely take a look into it if you use guitar enough to justify the price. You can then also run the recorded signal back into the amp and tweak the sound while your best take is playing. It's called reamping. Love the channel, keep it going! ;D

This has a criminally low amount of likes, this is so much info and effort, thank you so much for making this, I think this is like the 3rd time I’ve come back to this video throughout my years trying to make music

A quick trick I use if I have a mic that picks up sound from one instrument is to sidechain it. it's great for this type of video recordings or live streams.

Re: Around 41 Minutes. I'm quite sure Ned knows this, but for benefit (maybe) of others -- in order to use the Dual channel mode on the Amp sim you also have to have the output of the Cabinet sim(s) set to Dual or stereo as well. A stereo signal needs to be fed into the Amp, but that can possibly be done with guitar (generally mono) by introducing some kind of stereo effect before it. These videos are great, even when you're aware of most of these techniques, quite inspiring. I seem to come out of each one with some new avenue to persue. Thanks Ned!

It was bothering me so bad that he had the bottom cabinet muted without noticing for an extended period of time lol 😆 but awesome video!

Thank you so much! I recently began playing the guitar, and I initially opted for the Bias FX 2 plugin. It served its purpose well, particularly in helping me explore various pedals and grasp the concept of the signal chain. However, I soon came to realize that depending on third-party plugins had its downsides. Ableton seemed a bit intimidating with all its intricacies. You've done an exceptional job by providing an enlightening tour and demonstrating how to craft an impressive guitar sound. I absolutely adore your enthusiasm and sense of humor! P.S. Fantastic music on Spotify!

I absolutely love this! Can you please do the same with a classical guitar in both traditional and experimental level?

Firstly, you are so talented, dude. Guitar too? Good on you, wow. Secondly, maybe use a foot pedal to mute the mike when it suits you to have it muted and your focus is elsewhere? An idea. Thirdly, I just bought a KEYtar-- it was a strange decision, but I'm loving it. How about a video making guitar sounds *with no guitar*, building upon what you just showed us (tho I'm still watching, doodlydoodlydoooo)? One day I'll be a supporter, but I'm working on supporting me still. I love your videos, thanks so much for being you. Cheers.

I love Ableton Live but the worst guitar tone I’ve ever heard. Might sound good on a synth or other instruments but this doesn’t cut it. Time to get a third-party plugin. Even a free one like the Fluff 5153.
