Great video. I'm a high school teacher. I like for the student to come with thier parents. That way the plan is made with them and we are talking about them lol. I too end up with a long line of parents and I think your tips showcase how we as teachers can look forward to parent conferences, knowing that the end result of each meeting is positive and helpful to all of us moving forward. - Go Teachers!
This is all great advice! I am just a little discouraged that out of my 120 students, I only had one set of parents show up to parent/teacher conference day 😢
Hi Raeanna! That can be very discouraging. You never really know what’s happening in a kids home or in their parents life. The three questions I mentioned in the video could also be an email home. That might give you some important information about your students. ☺️
