I am so deeply impressed by your evolution not only as an adult but as an artist. This video that you just produced, your pictures and narrative are seeded with genuine and honest open heart reflecting on yourself, as an true artist and your environment. Keep it honest! All the love to you.
We take so many things around us as common place & not appreciating what we have around us. You capture images that are thought provoking in a good way. Especially your nature shots, enjoying GOD's Grandeur! Keep up the good work. I have come late to your channel, so I have been binge watching all your videos, & commenting here & there, not knowing if you will ever see them. GOD Bless You & Your Family.
Haven’t seen a proper roll of film for a looong time. Used these for years and still remember the excitement of collecting the developed images later on. Well done Elijah.
Such gorgeous photos. You have a great eye. I live at the ocean. And I do think we start taking things for granted. We forget to really see it. I agree that we all have a need to create. In some way.
Your pics are epic. I love your creative eye. How fortunate for you to experience that moment. There will never be that exact image there again. Take care
I love that you were out in the middle of the night to get a great shot! I really liked the photos - well done, Elijah. I guess you need to be a bit of a perfectionist as a photographer to create what you want to portray. I also am a perfectionist and also creative which seems counterintuitive but it’s not. ❤️🇨🇦🙏
Beautiful......I will never get there But I can see it thru your eyes and the love you have for your talent and it is more creativity...something a machine can't feel. Thank for taking me to Japan....
By the way I am 54 years old and love old school photography in high school 1986 1987 I myself developed film and printed my own pictures and I still love the old way
Everyone is creative in their own way. Being creative isn’t confined to art but all aspects of our very being. And AI will never be able to replicate real life because it doesn’t have a soul. I started photographing in my early teens with film & introduced my children to photography with a film camera (Canon TLb-a100% manual camera) and now 2 of them are professionals. One is digital only and the other has all my developing equipment and still uses it. He shoots his RU-vid videos (Foldable Human) in digital. I use digital now, but still have my TLb. The difference between digital and film is that film has a depth that is palatable, like. CD vs. vinyl records. I like black and white photos for people, I say black and white shows who you are while colour shows what you’re wearing. Yes, a very biased and narrow opinion that doesn’t take in nuances of capturing someone’s image.😂. Great work Elijah!
Great video. Japan is beautiful! I don't think AI can replicate the depths of human vision, curiosity, emotions, and spirituality. We are awesomely made!
That’s probably the best video you’ve done yet! The journey creating, the discussion regarding AI, and the actual end product of your creativity was very well done. You’ve come such a long way in video making and confidence in speaking in videos, as well as the creativity piece. Totally agree with your thoughts about real art vs. AI imitations of art. We were created in God’s image, so maybe that’s why it seems to be naturally a part of being human to create as well. Kind of jealous of the cool things you are seeing in Japan, but everyone can find beauty around them no matter where they are in the world. You’re an inspiration to not take it for granted, and to seek it out in our own piece of the world. 😊
I would love to do more videos but I sadly just don’t have the time! With school and the HH Japan channel I’m only able to make a new video every month or so
Interesting! I think creating art is a necessity for humans, just watch what little children do when they are not being sat before a screen. This just continues to develop in us as we grow older, IF we get access to it. Art should be in every school in every lesson, always.
I love that you are able to get your film developed and keeping that alive! God created us in His image and likeness… I don’t believe AI will possess anywhere near the depths of humanity.
Thank you for sharing Japan with us! I enjoy your perspective wondering if people truly relish where they live? I try to enjoy the beautiful I live in, Kentucky. All the house farms and of course, the Kentucky Derby. (No, I've never been and it's in my town. 😂) Interesting you spoke about AI. I've had three phone interviews with an AI. I didn't care for it at all. I'm 58 but I felt very uncomfortable.
By this time youxve gone home. Not much has been said as to why you went back, but I hope it is to get a degree. Finish school, and get a degree in anything. Just get one. This is your time. Yes, this was a wonderful video.
Yeah creativity sure is dead, since not many things are as creative as they used to be which cartoons and tv shows and movies are not as creative as they used to been. Since they are just reboots while even the modern cartoons don't have as such creative art styles that I remember the times which 2000s cartoons when there would exist Cartoons that would have art styles making them look like they are anime's but they weren't made by Japanese people which I do find that to be so creative with 2000s cartoons. But now modern cartoons don't have that amazing art styles like the 2000s cartoons did and of course music also doesn't have any creativity in them either since modern music Now is just samples of songs that already exist though instead of making their own and original and even video games nowadays ain't as creative has they used to been too. But even on the internet creativity is even dead! which I remember the times in the 2000s from being on internet before when people would make something really creative and Share it on to the internet aka sites like youtube and newgrounds but now those days don't exist anymore since copyright itself is just killing creativity which I know this video art from. That is called amv's that are dying due to copyright while I also know the other reason it's dying since amv's now are just anime clips with a song slap on to it with zero editing and Creativity in them while the good ones made by the people that give them such love and creativity don't get any views on them which I do feel sad for those people that work hard on them. Just to get hard any views on them but now they have to worry that their amv doesn't get removed by copyright and I also never like how copyright even has affected newgrounds! The internet site that I remember using when I was a kid when I remember when it was an internet platform where people would make flash movies and flash games or art or audios. And share it on to newgrounds that I have watch so many flash movies on newgrounds when I remember it known for being pico school and madness combat and even the times I have seen megaman flash movies and naruto flash movies and stuff while same goes with stop motion animation flash movies but I find it so sad that many of those flash movies. And flash games got removed because of copyright since I just know in fact many of them got removed since they used copyrighted music which it really sucks for those people that Make those flash movies that they upload them on to newgrounds even without being aware of it since they don't even use newgrounds no more but damn it is sad to see how dead Creativity sure is..
I think AI could really inspire more art to be created… but it’s a weird concept to hold even in my field. Obviously it’s not there yet, but I study history and a large aspect of telling a historical story is personal interpretation… but that can mean we get it wrong. And since AI can retain so much more information than me it makes me wonder, what if I get replaced? But I think you make a good point- we don’t create because we have to we create (and in my case study) because we want to. I hope my job doesn’t get replaced but, we’ll see hey? Cool video intro really surprised with how well made it was
That’s a good point! Although I wonder if an AI could really do that much better just because history is so detailed and has so many different perspectives that it might just be impossible to choose the “right” interpretation even for a machine. I guess only time will tell.
