True but most point based cards can transfer to airlines and such

Same with me, I pay as I go with my cards so the total reported is minimal. I use MaxRewards to tell me what card I should use at what location.

Yup that’s where I’m at, primarily use Amex and the double cash. Gotta through in the all the other cards like Truist ones and the PenFed gold stuff

i have 8 cards, have 1 bill on each card and everything on autopay, so everything stays current

@@tbone75063 I use and excel sheet of when I use my cards. The ones I use regularly, I don't have to put them on the list. Depending if you want to keep a cycle of every three months or every six months then just make to buy a hamburger or a stick of gum with that credit card. I'm up to credit card number 20. If it gets too much for you, you could just close some. I think if you have certain credit cards for something on a monthly cycle then you don't have to worry about it. I try to get cards where I am able to get 5% cash back. So certain card give me a certain percentage for using them: one for cable and internet, one for phone bill, one for utilities, one for, internet purchases, one for using paypal, one for rent, one for gas, ect. There are so many cards that might give a little more in a certain category.

I here you. Hard to rotate them.. Hopefully they come out with a app where it auto rotates credits when used..

Yeah after gas, groceries, dining, travel, like a 2% everything card and maybe a couple more… it’s like your getting more cards for fun/buying power

As far as CREDIT cards, you only have 2. I have one from each network. I have 8 personal cards. 1 is a charge card with the Amex Green, 1 business card with the Blue Business Plus and 7 personal.

14 is wild 😂… I only have like 4/5, need a few more for dining and travel but after that I feel like your just getting more cards for buying power at that point right?

I have all the apps in one folder in my phone so every payday I go in and clear them all to 0

Hard pulls drop off eventually. If you're relatively young like me, you can try my strategy which is to basically apply for many cards early on and just sit on them. That way when you're older it's not a big deal since those hard pulls will have fallen off your report by then. Keep in mind this wouldn't work for you if you plan on buying a house in the near future

Why they closed your Discover card; it’s actually my oldest card.

@@callmeNeno Haven't used it for a long time. It's been over 6 months at least. Wasn't a biggy for me, I only had it for about a year and a half and I've of course got better cards since.

I buy a .50 cent gift card from Amazon with each of my 13 unused cards on the first of every January, April, July and October. Every 3 months. Keeps them from being closed for inactivity. Then I have a $26 giftcard to use on Amazon every Christmas. 😂😂💳

I’m 22 with like 15 cards, no chase though, I’ve been addicted since 18 and never gave myself time to get under the 5/24. I don’t churn either, just slowly stacking them. I actually just got a amex Hilton surpass and finished the sign up in a week. I was gonna get another one because I read your comment but I might be close to getting under the 5/24

@@DaniloFaria7 credit one does not product change their cards. When I called to the Amex they only offered me a credit increases, however they didn’t hard pull my credit for it.
