The thing about AOL sessions, if I remember correctly, is that the agreement is that bands have to sound as raw as possible. No over the top special effects, no vocal enhancements, etc. What you see from a performance is what you get. These guys sounds pretty good!!
Actually it's the sound engineers responsibility to make them sound as good as their performance, in this case the band is awesome but the mix is shit!
@@GUERRA-lt4qb bro don’t be stupid of course it’s all recorded live but I also I studied sound engineering and they add a bit of pitch correction, echo and all that, doesn’t have to be autotune like full robotic mumble rap sounding.
This is one singer who truly knows how to perform live ... Knows his voice well enough to know what he can and cannot do. Koodos to this band! Big fan of Creed, I am!
If I had just one wish, only one demand, I hope they're not like me, I hope they understand that they can take their lives and hold them by the hand and they can bring the world with arms wide open... Just what the world needs more now than ever...
@BradCowdrey95 every one says hes auto-tuned.. hes not go watch them live on fox and friends or go watch him in 2011 in delray florida.. through most of the tour he had vocal issues the way he talked and singed didnt sound the same... just be greatful its still the lead singer we know and love and not some young guy that sounds almost like him on cd and nothing like him live. his voice is back.. that BEAUTIFUL voice is back.. and i only needed to watch 3-4 videos to believe it :)
Idk man Brian Marshall pretty much sat right in that pocket and filled the entire room with that low B string even Scott Stapp felt it and got into it with him @ 2:32
auto-tuned? i don't know which generation you came from but back in the 90s it wasn't about reaching the right note so much as putting everything you have into a song. and stapp is on the ball, every song speaks...it's good to see them back considering music now is just bunch of manufactured products you buy at discount rates on sale day...it's no longer art. and that's sad.
Definitely need another guitarist just to give it a bigger sound. Mark is a control freak though. He wouldn’t let Scott play bass on Weathered. He did it himself.
