Creeper World 4 Trailer. Battle a fluid enemy in this unique strategy game. Steam: store.steampowered.com/app/84... Discord: / discord Web: knucklecracker.com
one thing i respect is this guy actually waits patiently and makes a full and complete product before putting it onto steam so many indie devs these days slap barely developed "games" with maybe 1 tenth of the features they promised onto steam early access and then pinky promise to add other 90% of the game later and while some people do there are many others who don't. its refreshing to see someone who puts the elbow grease into their game before they put it up for sale
Who does that? None of the EA titles i have bought finished more than 80% of the promised features before being abandoned or marked as released with the other features becoming paid DLC.
This has been on Steam for a long time already. Just not released. Releasing the game and setting it up on a platform to be released are two different things.
Don't make it sound like Early Access is all bad. It's brought us many great games, Factorio and Hades being an example. Sure, it releasing as a complete game would probably be ideal for the consumer, but developing games isn't free; it doesn't just happen, like you make it sound... Early Access allows them to fund the rest of the development, while also providing feedback. It can obviously be taken advantage of and because of that, consumers need to be a little more aware of purchases in such cases, however there are plenty of good examples. I just hate the idea that it's all bad when it isn't. If this dev wanted to do Early Access, then more power to him. It works for some, not others... Without Early Access, many great games wouldn't have even been made.
The demo for this game is amazing, it reminds me of the extremely content rich demos they used to release back in the day like for Age of Empires and other games like that Take notes, game developers, this guy takes care of his fans!
And to think this all started with Creeper world 1. A small flash game that was some of the most fun I had as a kid. Now an adult and the 4th installments coming to steam. I cant wait
I'm going on deployment for 7 months in january, I NEED this on my laptop while away to pass the time as Covid will prevent us from actually visiting any of the cities/ports we'll stop at.
@@maxhax367 me2 but games like wc3 reforged still didn't give a shit about it, despite all the free content people made for the original. so it's always great to see someone sticking to the fans even if it probably was quite a lot more work to add all the editor features in
I just want to launch the missile or serverl hundred at the same time just cause you know ,boom Just so many cool things I cant wait to get my hands on whatever that orbital bombardment was the freaking war blimp. I also love the retexture on a lot of stuff it looks much cooler now
Dec 3 2020, that's the only thing missing to that trailer! Until I've check Steam, I was afraid we could have to wait for way much longer! your games are the only ones I buy and play day one while I usually wait for sales and have an enormous to do list!
About a year ago your dev diaries introduced me to this franchise. Two days ago, I finally got the Dr. Jones achievement for CW3. I guess it's time wrap up those last few achievements...
Kongregate got me following this amazing series many many MANY years ago, the demo had me hooked and wanting more... now all we need is the official launch!
I stumbled onto one of the early dev videos for creeper world 4 and it immediately sucked me in, I've been excited the whole way and this gets me even more hyped. Can't wait for the release
Well, I have finished the story of all previous games (except Arca as skars). And I have 400+ hours too on CW3. Do you have a specific problem with last mission? I know that this game has a discord server, where people can help you if you need.
I'm looking forward to the new dimension, new strategies, new campaign, and I'm REALLY looking forward to the crazy stuff the community is going to come up with in the weeks, months, and years to follow!
God, I didn't think this would give me chills, but it did. Great job! Only thing I could find to complain about is the lack of a "number of campaign/story missions". I'm sure there's plenty - as there was in creeper world 3, but man - knowing how many would be great.
Perfect timing with my vaccation time in December :-) Thank you! P.S. It is a little bit strang to see the word 'mission' 5 times in a row ... why not 'expansive campaing', 'daily challanges', 'advanced level editor' ...
I looked up the release date after the trailer and i will buy it one the first day, but there is an other game that i really want to play that will be also released at that date.
For various technical reasons, the decision on native Linux support won't be decided until early 2021. In the interim, we do know that the game functions under Proton on Steam.
Is that an anticreeper shooting blimp in the last shot? I have a feeling I haven't been paying as close attention to the update videos as I thought, I can't recognize what it is from that angle.
I can't remember the last time I was actually excited for a game to come out, and planning on buying it on release date. Out of everything... it's THIS...
I can't wait, it's going to be a good xmas. Have you thought of writing a creeper world book? Seriously, a SF book based on the Creeper World series would be awesome.
If he did, it would be best to commission it from a professional author. He's great at making game mechanics, but story and dialogue skills he does not have.
@@joshuafischer684 Yea, it would better to use someone who's good at the craft, but the concept and ideas from this series I think could be used to build a really interesting scifi setting.
Very excited, it's been an excruciating joy watching the development of this game. Congratulations on getting it to launch, it looks better than ever. I really appreciate all the little UI and UX flourishes that make going back and playing the older ones feel like shifting back to the DOS era.
