I really do love this house. It's not particularly my era, but I would love to restore it with original touches from the 1890's. And you are right Ethan, the woodwork is spectacular.
Oh, Ethan! You're reaction to the battery was classic! We all know you don't do the ghost stuff, you just love cataloging and documenting empty houses. You were completely astonished and almost upset at what happened. I did hear the steps, when you first asked if we heard something, and then again a little later, very faint. There was definitely something there, either trying to get your attention, or having a wee bit of fun with you. I don't think it was malicious, but maybe it wanted you out after a while, because as far as it was concerned, you'd overstayed your visit! But keep up the excellent work you do - love your videos!
Great explore, thanks Ethan! Yeah, I think something was asserting itself by tossing the cardboard and battery. Throwing stuff on the floor is an attention-getter and I've had this experience myself. I lived in a studio on the top floor of a building built in 1892, later renovated and turned into apartments. The neighborhood had historic events and it turns out this building was connected to the building next door, then at one point that they were separated into two structures. I feel that renovation can 'stir things up' with former departed tenants. The things that happened, every 3-4 months, were things that went missing and then appeared later. Sometimes in the same place where they had been (completely searched) or in a totally unexpected place. My girlfriend and I got into arguments over who misplaced the object. It was not a prank because several times the lost item made either of us late for an appointment, stressed out, etc. Neither of us have this sense of humor anyway. Finally we realized it was something else. One day we heard a sharp clack in the kitchen and found a heavy metal soup spoon on the middle of the tiled floor. No windows were open to create a breeze, the distance from the counter was significant. Spoon had not been there 15 min. earlier. When we were moving out, a painting slide down the wall in front of us in slow motion, I mean really slow, then came to a gentle stop on the floor. This isn't how a painting typically falls and the hook was intact and solid, never had a problem with this painting in 3 years. There was no wind or vibrations to cause this. We laughed and said ok goodbye to you too! New apartment, also in an older building, but zero problems! Totally different feeling to the place. We now realize what a weird place we had lived in. I understand why the owners would use the newer entry door into the large open living room, instead of the original one into a super small entry directly in front of the stairs. What a depressing way to enter your house. Would not want to stay in the basement guest bedroom.
Thank you 😊 so much for filming this house! My husband and i lived in his family's farmhouse, so similar from the outside for decades. It was an 1880 s home, grey like this and similar style but both sides had upstairs level. I gasped ehen i saw this one at first. This had a whole lot of care and work into it. It is a never ending , seemingly, job. The kitchen is beautifu and so handy. The house has charm ,character, and comfort all bringing back memories of ours. We had the fieldstone badement , with logs underneath the first level floors. These homes experienced births, deaths, and always so much a living center of activity. I loved all the mansions you filmed, but this one caught my ❤️.
It's a haunted house. Best thing to say if you are ever in a house and hear things or feel you are not alone, is you are not meaning any harm, just visiting, and always say before you leave, that the spirit is not welcome to follow you, because they can, and sometimes will, follow you home.
Yes I also felt spooked out as you went through that house like some kind of angry energy as if they were not happy you were intruding on its space. Yes it was making its presence known 😮 with that battery falling to the floor. It feels like something bad happened in that house. I got like spooky chills when you were showing it. Anyhow thanks again for your adventures in these old abandoned houses. Great video Ethan 😊
Ethan, that piece of cardboard moved! The battery definitely fell on the floor. I wouldn't discuss anything with whatever that was. The apology was the best thing you could do. Don't engage what might be paranormal any more than necessary. Cool explore! I'm sure that house was remodeled in the 70s or 80s. It was a cool house anyway. It could well have been paranormal activity. Just a few things moving near you. Nothing like people who fake paranormal activity. Swinging chandeliers, slamming doors, "things" peeking around corners. That dramatic stuff is usually fake. What happened to you was most likely some *real* paranormal activity. Don't know for sure. You always have lovely and honest videos. Good job, Ethan.
My roommate is into all that paranormal stuff. You can see some little orbs of light right around the time the cardboard moved (and it certainly did move). He says that is signs of ghost activity. I'm skeptical about a lot of that stuff myself, but knowing that you're not into all that either, that makes what we see here look legit. Just my two cents, I would love to see you refer this house to other explorers you know who are NOT big paranormal guys and let's see what THEY see. Outside of that, this is a beautiful old house, and I really enjoyed the fine woodwork. Thanks for sharing this.
Hi Ethan, That was Definitely Paranormal, beautiful house though.. You should let Angelo know what happened, so he can go investigate.. He loves paranormal.. Thanks for sharing..
What an interesting find. i wonder what hapoened in this house? - and what was the terrifying past? Sometimes you can pick up vibes of events that happene in the pást, both bad and good - unexplainable, but true. Someone put a lot of work into renovating and produced some beautiful work. Thanks for yet another great explore, Ethan! ,
Hi Ethan, This house was very interesting and scary at the same time. You were very brave to continue on. Thank you. Really appreciate the work you put into all your video.😍
Hi Ethan This house is in good shape for a house that is over 100 years old. Must have been renovated a few times. I was scared when those haunted things happened. I kept saying Ethan get out of there. I wasn’t even there and I was freaked out. Still a good explore. I have to say that I thought that basement was creepy and I thought someone was hiding down there. I think you are brave to go to these places alone. Thank you for sharing this cool and weird explore with us. Stay safe and well. Stay away from the wildfires.🔥👍❤️💕
Ethan all of your viewers and me , enjoy the random homes , you explore. I am not overly crazy on the stairs and the galley kitchen .i love cooking 🍳 i still appreciate videos Ethan . That was crazy upstairs and now the battery reminds me of the movie haunted house with the Marlon Wayne brother 😂
This house is in amazing shape. I didnt see any water damage or paint peeling or broken windows. Whoever lived in it over the years really kept up with any repairs....maybe the ghosts are keeping it together. P.S. I've noticed that the washer & dryer are usually left behind & abandoned right along with the house. Thats odd to me.... I enjoy your videos Ethan. You always do a terrific job at showing details & the history of the house or mansion. Keep up the good work!! ❤
Thank you for another great video, I do believe you had some paranormal activity for sure...Stay safe and you should Never go to abandoned homes alone, you just never know what you could run into....
This is an awesome house, and whoever is there would like you to leave. This is actually, space wise, one of my favorite houses you have explored. I'm a reseller, and that large open room would be a wonderful working space, with the basement as storage. I could deal with whoever is there as long as I can make friends with them. ;-)
Hey Ethan...wooooooo👻👻spooky....there's definitely something there ...I liked the house ,big bathroom ...probably wouldn't live in it tho with all the activity going on😳....brave of you ..stay safe 🙏well and happy 💋 🤗
We all seen it. Ethan best to just leave & try not to explain what nobody understands .:) Viewing was out standing When they did put the new paint and the light fixtures it had to be done less then 5 years. When a friend explored this ol time home it was gawd aweful .hey 7 years ago this place looked like it was ready to fall thru .Great showing and exploring . Love ya Ethan you are gettin much better .Keep living the dream:)
Most definitely haunted. As old as that property/house I'm sure there is residual activity. Great video and beautiful home. Would've loved to have seen it in its original condition. Cant wait till the next video. Much love and many prayers.
Whoever lived in this house did do a lot of work to make it look nicer. It's a little chopped up, but still cute. The bedrooms upstairs are way too small. I did like that it has a basement. Where I live....having a basement is great incase of tornado. 👍 I'd probably have a door covering up the part that's just for storage/ where the exercise bike was. It was probably just mice instead of ghost. 😄 👻 When you're by yourself it makes it even creepier. lol!! I'd get the heck out if there too just incase. 😃 Thanks for sharing another great video.
When that battery rolled off and hit the floor, I would have been in the yard instantly. The blurry image you'd see running past you towards the door woulda been me.
Perfect timing For," Ethan Abandon Mansion's " 🙌 Its Always Nothing But The Best CONTENT 💯 When ETHAN is On RU-vid 🤗 Lot's of love From SAN ANTONIO TEXAS ❤️ God bless 🙏 You ALWAYS On Your Adventures 😇
No worries Ethan, The place was extensively renovated maybe thirty years ago, to quite a nice house. Basement was probably only a half basement back then. the closed vent in the upstairs floor was a cold return for a gravity furnace 100 years ago. in some old places, if the floor has some give, the counters can be off level, and, as your weight moves past, there is a slight change, causing a movement. Cheers!!
I don’t believe this is the case with this house. It is haunted. That battery was thrown from the other counter pretty hard and I believe it is haunted and that cardboard was thrown hard acres the floor upstairs. There is no explanation for it. It is haunted.
@@catz1215 ~ Ohhhh, YESSSS!! THIS Sort Of Thing IS What I Live For!! I LOVED IT!! However, NO WAY Would I DO A LONE Explore Like Ethan Did!! NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
Thank you for doing this video, so... @ 1st I loved all the doors & layout bc it was so difficult & like you I don't believe in "haunted houses" however I have explored some that scared me. Yours is beyond creepy, hopefully you walked by both times & the movement made them move if not, STAY AWAY FROM THAT HOUSE in the future, that's beyond creepy!
Hi there Ethan. What a beautiful house and spokey home. Glad you made it through the hole house with out running away. Great video tho. Thanks for sharing. Maybe you should tell Angelo about the hunted house. Or show him the video.
I grew up in a similar 1900 farmhouse (without the additions) so it was quite a tight space for our family of 8 in only 2.5 bedrooms! Ours wasn't haunted, thank goodness. My parents owned it over 50 years.
Hi Eathan, cute little house for sure, there could be something paranormal in the house, it was trying to get your attention, love the flooring, thank you for sharing
3:15 those may be wood pellets. Not only can they be used for pellet stoves, but some people use it for very cheap kitty litter in sifting pans. 7:27 Can't say I've ever seen a door to the outside in a bathroom before... I dunno what the deal was with the stuff going all over the place but yeah, houses ain't made like this anymore. No mould, not falling apart. Great explore.
Yes, I was pondering on that door in the bathroom to the outside, too. I'm thinking it was perhaps a mudroom or pantry or something, and converted into a downstairs bathroom. Maybe an owner had a really messy job, and always came in and showered there before entering the rest of the house. But I for sure would feel vulnerable taking a shower with an external door just a few feet away in the same room!
Well whoever owned it invested in it. I was surprised the power is still on. I was hoping you would have shown the chandelier in the office lit up. It was so pretty !! I was wondering if it was Italian or a repop. The lighting is nice all the way thru.
Nicely renovated except for the first floor floors. I hope they don’t tear it down. And I would’ve been creeped out by the noises and flying things. Thanks for sharing.I really enjoy your videos.
New here! Love your videos! I so wish i could visit that home! Its beautiful! I love haunted places! Im into all paranormal activities! I was raised around alot of thing! Will continue watching all your videos! Have a good day!
Always find these really old houses to be interesting. Love to know the history. That being said, that house definitely gave off a negative vibe the minute you turned and showed the staircase. I felt uneasy for you the minute you started upstairs. Definitely some paranormal signs there. But also i think the house gives off that feeling in general due to the tight spaces. 🤔
the fact that you had just walked in to view and you were already getting haunted, imagine how creepy it would be living there. however, I didn’t get a negative vibe, other places definitely have. it’s just really old.
That is the third haunted house you’ve explored. It is very real. Do you remember the house where you heard little girls playing downstairs? That was haunted. There was another 1800s you explored and that was haunted too. You need to get in touch with Ghost Hunters or Ghost Adventures to do a show in those three houses. Would you try to find the last family who lived there and asked them if they had experiences in that house? We would all like to know but I’m 100 percent convinced this one is haunted. Cute house but I’d never live there. I lived in a haunted apartment but was young and didn’t give it much thought but too many weird things happened but I am older and I know it was haunted. The scariest was when I was laying in bed I felt someone sit down on the bed. I covered my head with covers and feared for my new baby at the time and a son in first grade.
Dear @catz1215 ~ Could And You Or Someone.. Anyone.. Identify Those Two(?) Or More? Other Haunted Video Explores? Please? It Is Very True That That Lends Credence.. The Fact That You Are NOT Known For Haunted Explores!! This Was Fascinating, Indeed!!
Really nice house Ethan. Only noise i heard was the battery. I think its haunted too. No no to opening the fridge. Gross! Love those bathrooms, really nice. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awww Ethan that was scary :) I watch people do paranormal and don't get as much activity, I wonder what the history is, it could be someone died there and never left. Very entertaining anyway, Thank you Hugs xx
Well Ethan I told you I would put headphones on to see if I could catch anything and when you were talking about the wooden floors I heard some mumbling but I couldn't catch what I heard, I could be wrong though.. For an older house it could have some residual energy..
well, at least now, we know why its abandoned. I love the Paranormal! I would have talked to what ever spirit(s) are in there and be like "hey man, whats goin on? - just crusing through no harm intended. . . . I'm Kewl.
Great video Ethan the next time you go exploring on your own make sure you either take another pair of jeans with you or toilet paper that was a beautiful 1800s home the rooms were small the original floorboards had no buckles in it but a great video
A pleasant house except for the very dark walls the paranormal was a bit quite unexpected, you did not explain the terrifying past of the house. Thanks for the video.
These type of homes aren't really my bag, partly due to the over all creepy vibes they give off 😮 (although that's most likely from watching too many scary movies in the past), however, I can appreciate the architecture of these style of homes for what they are. Things randomly moving, Yikes!!😲 Cool adventure though! ✌️
Okay, Ethan, I did get goose bumps while you were going through this house. I often have dealings of some sort in older homes and this is a true haunted home. Please be careful and just do as you did, you should always leave immediately when things start to happen. My prayers and best wishes are always with you. Luv from Texas
That was really strange and its good that it cant really be explained. One of the reasons i watch your channel is because you dont do do the paranormal stuff but i have to say that..i couldn't explain. Very interesting 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Well Ethan it was bound to happen, you’ve offically been ghosted. Wild stuff and cool old house. They did a good job keeping it retro with modern. They say that stirs up the paranormal.
Ethan this house reminds me of the local German club in Canberra Australia very woodsy very floral. Glad to see upstairs backdoor to remove their upstairs furniture cause that spiral stair case wasnt going be easy. The ceilings are low so are the wardrobes def a Tardus shower in the master suite, Dungement I guess did its job of being a wine cellar coolness.
The tiles on the kitchen wall the red one is a Radish and the green one is an artichoke. I love the hardware on the door😍 Yes that house seems haunted to me😮
That house is really nice and worthy of restoration, but are there entities left over from some previous time? I tend not to go all in for that stuff but the strange noises and movements may make a case for something weird. Like the layout and simplicity and I am always drawn to older light fixtures. Like the large room with the fireplace. The basement was not a place I would like to spend time in let alone stay in a bedroom down there especially with a sump pump in the closet. Your voice was a bit shaky in the outro. I grew up in a house built in 1907 and was never afraid except in the basement. It has been said that it’s not the ghosts that will get you but the live ones. Ethan thank you for braving this old house to share it with us. Take care be well stay safe.
