"Dead dogs and various penis" is still one of the funniest quotes I've ever read in a creepypasta

"Hanger" is a very common misspelling of "hangar". I suspect I've played more "hangers" than hangars in assorted Doom WADs.

Perhaps the most fucked up thing in this WAD is the image of a decomposing dog. And it even shows _bones._

7:16 The animation was on a TV in Duke Nukem 3D. The animation was a reference to The Simpson's "Itchy And Scratchy Show." Just to let you know.

Imagine if there was a dead rabbit instead of a dead dog. I would imagine this mod as a nightmare that Doomguy had after doom 2,kind of like how he has hell ptsd and stuff.

I'd like to imagine right after you press the switch, the player wakes up in Deimos base. Make this feel like a post-death purgatory, going through the old E1 levels, but a little off and empty. Creepy shit happens, then the player wakes up in E2

this mod missed so much potential, the parts where everything is quiet and empty are really chilling.

For some reason, this wad gives me the chills. The screaming at the beginning makes my blood run cold.

The no music and no enemies thing is great because of how undettling it is! But then there were screamers, jumpscares, gore, versions of the game’s ost to ruin it..

One bullet was the first thing I noticed. The dead dog thing is there to piss people off as a matter of fact it could go to a deeper level as the brutality of some people avenging their pets can rival what most people of a older era would call demonic rage or strength example one man shot and killed another man's dog where I live so l the man went home grabbed his double barrel shotgun went to the man's house rang his doorbell when he came to door he emptied both barrels point blank into the man's face right in front of his family he was found not guilty

The Icon of Sin theme is really fitting.

To be brutally honest, i thought this would be a creepy wad on its own. And the scream, though Snoc.EXE, was still scary. But the erie atmosphere had me wanting some form of music. And when I heard the friked up version of "At Doom's Gate" play, even that scared me. And don't get me started on the noises I heard before the song. It sounded like screams of death, faded and bitcrunched. To add on to the effect, it's 10:30 pm in pitch darkness.

Someone should make a mod were there is the first half of e1 with no music and enemies, and nothing. It would be scary by not being scary, it's genius.

I found out what the message was at 10:39. The guy in background was saying: "THIS IS NOT THE ONLY WAD I MADE. I MADE OTHERS LIKE THIS. OTHERS WILL ALSO SUFFER. I'LL TELL YOU RIGHT NOW. Dead dogs aren't scary. They're just sad. Why would anyone enjoy the death of something that, most of the time just wants to love you?

I seen the pictures years ago to this Wad. They were absolutely horrific. I can still remember vividly the skeletonized dog. Truly terrible stuff.

Classic cliche horror trash tbh, even going as far as to use the same exact stock scream sounds as everything else seems to. As well as the "reversed voice = scary" cliche. As well as the "gore = scary" cliche. As well as the "no enemies = scary" cliche. Gaming creepypastas are a joke.

the whole reversed sound at the end gets more narmy when you realize the screaming was taken directly from suicide mouse

Im totally anti horror and i barely sat thru this whole video. Honestly Doom maps without music and enemies are so mind fucking scary for some reason. And when you pressed switch in m2 and it was broken i felt horrible. Probably too because its 3 am now. Idk really about this wad but video is masterpiece.

This video honestly looks almost exactly like the original video that got removed, point-for-point (except it's in higher definition.) It seems more like a reupload than a remake. Either way, still a good video.

Showing corpses for no reason its not creepy, its a cheap way to shock people

theres something really funny about the marine in the house, in the creepypasta, its probably the representation of Daniel breaking into someones house and killing them. Outside however, its just someone scared that a dude with a shotgun broke into their house

For me, in doom II the scariest thing is that, the DOOM Wadders are great at making scary doom wads! But this and 1993.wad... ewh...

This mod had a ton of potential, that got wasted in my opinion. There were moments of creepiness, genuine anxiety about what will happen, but then it flashes a dead dog or a dead guy on the screen for shock value and instantly all tension leaves. And the stock scream sound effects... Come on man. We've all heard those 1000 times in "creepy" games and mods. This mod genuinely has a lot of potential, as others have been saying as a nightmare doomguy is having. I actually thought that was what the mod was going for, but clearly not as its based on a poorly written creepypasta. Killing the other doomguy at the end, to me, seemed like it could represent doomguys paranoia after the events of doom 1 and 2. Paranoia that the demons would come back and kill him while hes vulnerable. It could definitely be something really creepy, but unfortunately it falls flat because of overused shock value images and stock scream sound effects throughout.
