Nicodranas, the way Matt has described it makes it sound absolutely gorgeous, Menagerie coast in general sounds like an ideal fantasy holiday, Dalen's Closet too of course and maybe Rumblecusp but it's full of dinosaurs, ghosts and stuff.

I'm not gonna lie, I wish they wouldn't do these. Like no disrespect to the animation team or anything, but I don't really care about them. I'd rather radio silence while they get this shit finished then them putting stuff like this up, it just feels like they're stalling or trying to milk building up hype.

Honestly, I love that we get these little updates. They don’t even mention the show’s progress, but it nice to see these videos instead of waiting in uncertainty for a release. It’s also lovely to meet all the creators as well. I’m also offended no one mentioned Marquet.

You can learn a lot from context though. If they are describing how some spells look, that would mean primary animation is done. The edit is likely done. So hopefully they are onto effects editing and sound design.

I know there used to be vampires there, but Whitestone. A giant clock, awesome bakery, two of the heroes of Exandria live there, and a giant tree. The druid in me would love it!

For those who want release date, animation examples, trailer etc. I expect that those things are controlled by Amazon. CR retained creative control but things like marketing will fall under Amazon's umbrella, so it's likely those things haven't been greenlit yet. Also they may just not know yet. It'll come eventually just have to wait a bit longer :)

I love the hints of progress from them talking about actually animating spells, more of that please! I tried to be a detective and figure out how far along they were from the "Delilahs spells" bit but shes seen using flashy spell early in the arc long before the big final confrontation so its hard to place ^^;

For anyone else wanting to join in on the sleuthing these are the spells she used during the arc (mild spoilers obviously) . . . . . . The after the feast: Hold Person, Blight, Finger of Death, Feeblemind (but the character targeted wont be there so maybe not), Dimension Door, Teleport(?) Later appearence: some of the above and also Haste, Power Word Stun, Fireball, Misty Step, Invisibility. So I'd say theyre probably talking about animating those early necrotic spells; Blight and Finger of death.

Best fantasy monster? Probably werewolves for me, but if we go a bit more out there then it's Charybdis from the Greek myths. Basically a giant whirlpool of teeth and death, swallowing everything whole before vomiting all the shattered boats and debris out in a violent explosion is such a crazy thing to imagine. It's pretty much unbeatable due to the massive terrain advantage it has. Flanked by Scylla (a crazy monster in its own right) just makes it even more terrifying

I would wanna visit either Whitestone or Xhorhas. Fav spell would be polymorph due to the versatility and I also can't wait for transformation animations (sorry animators, I know that stuff is hard to do). And as for monster? Probably a hag...they can be benevolent if they want to, but why would they if they can just take what they want. Nasty creatures :P

For me id want to visit Vasselheim or Whitestone. Fav spell that I have used is probably Spirit Guardians or Destructive Wave. Fav monsters are definitely Lycanthropes!

They visited Osysa just before and after the Briarwoods arc, so she probably wont make an appearance in this season.

I wonder how they will bring the Briarwood arc into the picture. The first couple episodes will be a pre-live-game, brand new storyline. Then they have to skip the entirety of the Kraghammer arc. And also remove Tibs from all the scenes... Might be weird, but I'm sure they'll figure this out.
