I hope you two work out but if not you both deserve all the happiness in the world. Reese deserves a good man for sure. Tommy, the fact that you are self aware and aren’t just throwing your hands up and going ‘well this is me, this is happening and everyone has to deal with me’ is HUGE. Anyone who can be honest with themselves and others is a good person. You will both figure this out either way ❤❤❤ Rooting for you both, together or apart x

Thank you for being so candid. You don't have to be, but it has been very good to listen and learn from what you two discussed. Usually, I can not follow. However, two things clicked for me overnight: 1) It is new for me to set boundaries when it comes to people expressing themselves with anger. I don't like it, and now I have boundaries; 2) I have been operating with the logical part of my brain for years. It feels safe. I'd be very scared to activate the emotional part if in a relationship. So I am very happy to be single for the rest of my life. I will be more conscious of the emotional part if I ever do get involved with someone again.

Tommy, I know that you struggle right along with all of us! Relationships take constant work, you two alone can decide if it’s worth the struggle. My man was worth all the struggle. We were best friends first, he is still my best friend 30 years later! It’s ok to struggle, it will either break you or make you stronger!!! Either one will be ok! You are both plowing new fields in many ways. Enjoy it, that you have each other as support. I've never met anyone that didn't have issues of some sort to work through. It's the world we live in. I would love to see you take your time, like give it a year, before making any permanent decisions. God bless you both and thank you for sharing.

First Thought: May one without Empathy - never find themselves in need of it. Second: I admire and appreciate you both for sharing your roads traveled and current journeys - as individuals and a couple. I find myself reflecting, seeking, encouraged to heal my parts of brokenness. Third: I understand Tommy has been doing the work for sometime on himself - is navigating a condition that has many levels - I can only imagine how hard it must be learning to co-exist with a condition that you know will change you as time passes. Reece is on the fast track of learning and understanding what the consequences of being under a cults control has done and NOT done for and to her - Doing the work to peel the onion layers of a life time of trauma. It is okay her wants, needs and desires for herself may change a gazillion times. May we never forget the insight she is gifting us in graciously sharing her journey in real time with us! Final Thought: My heart is rooting for you both - to show GRACE to yourselves and each other in whatever type of relationship you choose to move forward with. Love and Light

@33 minutes in… KUDOS to you TOMMY for owning your own faults, that you are /can be mean and grumpy. I wish my husband had even half of those qualities. You are very , VERY humble and SUCH a gentleman! I wish I could give you a hug! You both have to work on yourselves alone.. yet find a way to always work on yourselves as a couple if you both do want it to work out . Relationships are indeed a two way street.

This reminds me of when you guys had your first misunderstandings, very early on. Was hoping your friendship would make it through. And it did. This relationship you two have is very special. I get really bad brain fog due to my ME. It makes me so angry when I forget words and things, I think people are going to think I’m stupid, and it stems from not being good enough as a child. I don’t want people to think I’m unintelligent, especially if it’s around people that don’t know about my disability. It’s hard. I hope you guys get through all of this, but Reese, give him a bit of a pass, Tommy 100% isn’t going to direct his anger towards you, it’s all inward, trust. Love you both xx

I'm really bothered watching this. What I seen was Tommy saying things like "He wanted the best for Reese. Or He would be very upset but if her happiness was with someone else he would want that for her". Things like that but not once did I hear her respond and say " right now that is you" or " You are the one that is making me happy" etc. I sense support and a fight in Tommy but only support from Reese. I dont say this to upset or anger anyone. Its what I am hearing and sensing. Dont have positive or good feelings about this. Sorry

Yep, You nailed it! Tommy needs someone that will support him through thick and thin. It takes two to make a relationship work, not sure why Tommy always takes the full blame. Noone is perfect.

The one piece of advice that I give people who ask for relationship advice.(Not that ya'll are) You have to be willing to grow together otherwise you will grow apart. You work on yourself to make yourself better and grow and change. Decide if you want to go through the hard growing pains together or apart....I see you two as people who are growing. And you are doing it beautifully together.

Thank you for sharing this. I am taking care of my 93 year old father, who has recently been put on hospice. The anger issues are challenging. It is triggering because he had shock treatments and became violent. It was scary as a 13 year old. I am trying to find an in person therapist. It has been 3 months. No one. Got help from the Alzheimers Association support meeting. Signed up for a service, 1 month wait list. Still looking. Take care you two!

The negative voices are always just 'louder', but the many who love and respect you, alot of times they just do so quietly. They Trolls and complainers are compelled to complain 3x...3x as loud and under 3 different sock accounts.
