When a dispute outside a Toronto tavern between a jealous boyfriend and several gang members ends in a hail of gunfire, a young woman new to the city is killed.
Four others are wounded, including a woman who discovers she’s pregnant when doctors try to remove the bullet. Another wounded man nearly dies trying to protect the killer. And the missing gun turns up in an unrelated crime.

My ex introduced me to this piece of crap one night while we were at the Duke, and the moment I met him I didn't like him and wanted nothing to do with him. Months later he shot people there. When I found this out, I really realized my intuitions about him were spot on. I also knew one of the innocent people that got shot there. Luckily he was ok. Sorry for the loss of the girls life in this situation. I hope he doesn't get out of prison for a long time.

So sad so many lives permanently shattered because of 1 lowlife. If your caught with a gun it should be 20 years mandatory sentences no trial no bail. And if you use that gun to hurt or kill someone it should be a death sentence

This crime brought awareness to me about the existence of gun violence in Canada 🇨🇦 it is as worth as the US🇺🇸. Serious measures got to be done. Just sad all these innocent people / loved ones being executed!!

When someone askes to see their lawyer...They need to bring in his lawyer, not aggrivate the person asking... Good, bad, guilty or not..Bring him his lawyer..thats the LAW..jmo

That’s not the law…they can be questioned without a lawyer and it’s their right to ‘remain silent’…he’s already spoken to his lawyer and been given advice and hasn’t been deprived of any rights.

Can you do the Just Desserts shooting in the early 90's? The victim, of Greek descent, Georgina "Vivi" Leimonis. They showed her being conscious but she didn't make it. Made national headlines especially because those responsible were to have been deported back to Jamaica. Of course, that never happened, so this young woman lost her life to these thugs. Tragedy overall.

Supreme Court ruled on that years ago. Cops can keep asking as much as they want. You don’t have to answer but they don’t have to stop just because your lawyer isn’t there. This isn’t the US.

right at the beginning - the cop says twice that it was a saturday night, when it was a friday. it's easy to fix that in post production, but that doesn't happen. typical bad Canadian production. how did that get missed..!?!

this happened on the early hours of Saturday … which is also when the police heard of the situation at 2am when that police officer got the call.

I am not convinced he is guilty...How did the Somalian get the gun...There was a Shisha bar next door...He probably would not have shot in the direction of his girlfriend...I have reasonable doubt...
