This is not a "startling and important disclosure" like the one the man in the diver's suit gave to Perry White in "Perry White's Scoop," but perhaps interesting nonetheless. And for me, it's always fun to find something I hadn't noticed before.

The big boss is perfectly recognizable as he enters the room and sits down to watch the movie. I love this stuff. Thanks for all you do, Jim.

It is indeed so much fun, even after all these years. I'm glad you find as much enjoyment in it as I do.

The origanal Black and white episodes were done well and seriously. When they moved to color, the episodes became more campy, like the Batman series.

Many thanks Jim. Despite the flaws, Crimewave was my very favorite episode - lots of action, rounding up dozens of crooks, lots of super stunts, Superman rallys the city, Superman escapes death and the big man captured with a twist plus my favorite Lois. What a young kid wanted every episode to be. The best of what a clip show could be.

Jim, And hats off to John Hamilton for appearing in the Stooges 1952 "Listen Judge"...must have been a lull in Superman filming

Impressive work. Crime Wave's electrocution scene scared Hell out of me 60+ years ago.

Pictures of adults who never grew up, and never have up an affection for the character Superman. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. 😊

It was one of those "never would I have thought" moments. Never would I have thought I'd ever visit such places... stand where George and the others stood. And as I stood there in 2018, I thought ... Missed you all by just 67 years. Darn!

Never noticed that the film screen was in the same location in both episodes. Crime Wave was one of my favorite episodes as a kid. I can't remember whether or not I figured who the crime boss was until the end. Watching it now, it seems pretty obvious. Great stuff!!!!

Your right Jim Sally’s room footage was used for both projector scenes- good eye! Also I noticed for a long time when Sally points out Perry White that was the alley scene from I believe the Monkey Mystery episode. I always liked the part when Clark runs into the alley & then Superman appears- the big boss notices something odd too & has Sally run back the film, but he doesn’t elaborate? Crime Wave was aways a favorite of mine. Nice pics of the former Carnation Apartment Bldg..for Sally’s scenes. Would love to visit places like that among others but never seem to find the time. I also like the Superman shirt you were wearing in one of the pics, the color of it looked like from the B&W episodes. This is Another one of your videos I enjoyed.

I wasn't sure it was worth making and uploading, so I'm especially pleased that you enjoyed it. That is a curious thing about Walter Canby ... he sees Kent run into the alley just before Superman emerges, and all he can deduce is that Kent has a way of contacting Superman. It didn't occur to him at all that Kent might be Superman. All good fun, and I still love watching.

@@jimnolt-TAC Right Walter couldn’t figure the possibility of Kent turning into Superman although it seemed by his response he would. I guess Robert Maxwell didn’t want the episode to go there?

Hey Jim, I remember as a kid watching this and being mad at Sally and friends for figuring it out. "Who's the Doll"? .. I would second that......

Phyllis was, absolutely, a doll. And regarding the other, I think I was too amused by seeing Clark run backwards out of the alley to be mad at Walter. 🙂

If Canby and company figured out that Kent and Superman were the same person, they may have suffered the same fate as Ace and Connie.

Hi Jim- is that Phil Van Zandt as a hood in the opening scene? Phil distinguished himself as a "second Banana" in the later years Three Stooges shorts. Please advise. Radio Rick
