Superlative detective work from a very professional police force, and a pleasure to see how well they comported themselves. Standards have fallen dismally in both the public and police since then in speech, behaviour and dress.
@RedCard74 where did u pull out all these CW Files from ? Considering the quality I wouldn't doubt you were part of the series or BBC ! Anyhow many thanks and well done, it's been years trying to locate some of the CW Files I missed whilst a youngster so are much appreciated !
I think your theory is correct as the quality is fantastic for the age. Just found these and am binge watching. Don't do this quality documentaries anymore!
My ex husband was Moroccan, no qualms at all in lying with perfect ease and invoking his god. If you're a woman, forget you have a will of your own. Beating is a matter of course.
Ashamed how many comments completely ignore the horrific death of a loving young woman and the little boy who subsequently lost his mother. Is this really the place to spread the old chestnuts about council housing and plain racist comments. Thank goodness we have such a professional police force.
I wish they would bring this show back or start making another one like it. No over hyping or voice over giving out details, just reconstructing the original crimes and events leading up to and afterwards. And not focusing on the criminals but the investigation and victims etc... I’m sick of all these over the top crime shows!
So true. No repetition, no drama queen "experts", in fact very little psychological profiling at all. Just good reconstructions and the coppers involved talking about the nuts and bolts of the case.
What with mobile phone tracking, DNA and clear CCTV. We didn't hardly have any of these back then. There is the Crimewatch Roadshow, not that it's shown at a time when many people are watching television.
@@anthonyfrancis8926 What on earth are you talking about - there's loads on CBS Reality. UK hasn't been a right wing society since Maggie Thatcher was PM🤔
I live in Australia and never heard of Crimewatch File. I just stumbled on this show - it is absolutely brilliant ! I thought that the camera was just following the real investigation; I only realised at the end that some of the people were actors and pretty good ones too. Delighted to discover that it's a series. The Brits really know how to produce quality stuff like this. Subscribed. Thank you very much.
Senior Rocker correction, Brits used to know how to make great factual programmes, Unfortunately despite annual increases to the TV license, the few quality programmes such as CrimeWatch have been cut. Search for CrimeWatch File 'A party to Murder' it was over 3 episodes and one of the best CW Files made !
Crimewatch was a brilliant monthly programme from the early '80s until a couple of years ago.....so many murders were solved from it... unfortunately, one of the presenters was murdered & her killer has not been found!
Jill Dando was murdered. I'm getting addicted to 48 hour murder mystery also. Crimewatch they quite often sometimes they actually used the real people and real detectives in the reconstruction of these crimes, The Susan Lamplugh one is interesting for me a Psychopath like ted bundy in that one,
I am from Aus. too and I agree with you on all points. But I also agree with other comments about the degradation of tv police drama and tv in general over the last 30 yrs. not only in Brit. but Aus. and other countries also. I do not hesitate to say that the tendency to copy the over dramatised and very irksome American tv trend for some reason, is the cause and sadly won’t change back.
Nick Ross struggling with a cold. Thanks for the upload. never seen this or heard this one before. We are nearing the end of Redcard74 uploads. Oh nooooooo!
Poor that young mother and the lost of a child's mother. I know life sentence in the UK isn't the same as in the US but I hope he will never get out. حسبي الله ونعم الوكيل . ان لا يقم عليك الحد فاعلم انشالله انك في جهنم وبئس المصير.
Iyad Subh, the length of a “life sentence” in the U.S. depends upon the state. Some states define life as life without parole; others set a minimum number of years that must be served.
I concur. Our sense of threat rendered inauthentic, our capacity for sensible aprehension all but lost. Our essential native quality resonated so strongly. I feel more like myself just watching this..
@@TheDavephillips Thank you , I love and respect language, it's been my life's interest , and yes I do try to pronounce clearly always , it makes a huge difference when either teaching or learning . Too many , particularly young people , today appear to underestimate the importance of articulating well with clear speech , and tend to mumble , drawl or drag their words , as well as affect accents . I am forever having to ask people to repeat themselves and often give up after 2 or 3 grunted replies , still unaware of what's been said! 😁
@@audreyann1975 Thank you Audrey Ann, I am an Irish woman who has lived on the European continent for many years speaking euro languages , but yes I still have my own clear Dublin accent when I speak English. 💚 Greetings from the UK today .
@Julia Horwood although mobile phones were on the market, they were contract only, and not that common Pay as you go was over another 10 years in the future

Wow, I remember watching these! Simple, straight to the point crime documentaries with no dramatic music or narration. Just in time for Tier 4 lockdown watchlist!
Dr Michael Heath, the pathologist interviewed near the start was later discredited and caused the police some difficulties with a series of murder convictions.
Thanks Redcard74, for this upload, don't actually remember this case either, always good to learn new things, haven't seen much uploads from you recently, please don't tell me we're losing you, what are we gonna do, oh no........😫😫😫😫
@@MrSammi271 he hasn't directly stated it as such, but I was only thinking that might be the case, as his uploads of crimewatch uk have slowed down, but I could be wrong...
Hi, I am currently working on more uploads. I am a teacher and so spent a long time over the summer uploading episodes. I just put them on here one by one. I have now ran out so need to go through a load of tapes again and see if I can see anything from 1995 onwards, that my Christmas holiday task! I have a few files which I will upload.
@@redcard7475 Oh Redcard74, thank you so much for your reply, and reassurance, I really do appreciate it, seriously, I started having withdrawal symptoms, I kept dreaming about crimewatch uk, I woke up, and I saw Nick Ross and Sue Cook standing over my bed, Nick Ross said to me: "do you know Redcard74, were you in the area where he was last seen" 😀😀, but all the same I understand the situation as you're a busy man, just wanna say a MASSIVE heartfelt thank you to you, from ALL of your regular crimewatch uk veterans here, for all the hard work, effort and time you've put into uploading many many episodes of what was a classic ongoing program from the 80s, and just how much we've all really appreciated everything you've done for us so far, and will be patiently awaiting any new uploads, either later this year, or into the beginning of 2019, you're a LEGEND, and have a great deal of patience, in transferring from video to RU-vid, keep up the great work, Buddy, always appreciated......✌✌👌👌👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Needle in a hay stack but they do "visual" inspection of the 3 wheeled cars in 2 counties. They needed a good dog that detects de-comp. Even if they didn't have one they could use a regular sniffer dog and show it a jar of decomp prior to sniffing each car boot.
Hi Redcard74, do you know whether they will be anymore Crimewatch episodes? I can't wait to watch the 1995 episodes. I hope you have more years. Thanks.
As soon as the husband spouted a version of the old "she just went out & no-one has seen her since" chestnut I thought they needn't look any further. So sad. It makes me angry that these grubby little men who can't stand to be challenged by a female think they have the right to end these women's lives.
I highly admire the British police and crime investigator for their hard work and determination to get results in order to bring these murderers to justice.
Sarah Sea: If I told you the number of times my surname was mispronounced, wrongly spelled, you'd be surprised. Personally, I don't take offence for I know that it's not a run-of-the-mill surname.
It really bothers me in crime shows when someone pulls over to take a leak and discovers a body, because if you notice -- the guy (and it's always a guy) never gets to take his leak. So psychologically I gotta take a leak too, just out of basic primate empathy. And, it never happens. Because the body gets discovered and the guy can't take a leak then. You can't drain liquid wastes out of yourself while a cadaver is within eyeshot. It just seems...rude. So a succession of unrequited leaks builds up in the mind the more one watches these things :(
I’m gonna go out on a limb here. But my guess IS if you find out who dumped the body you’re PROBABLY GONNA find out who did the killing. But, that’s just MY guess you understand !
My god, finding a tiny bit of carpet in a forest and then matching it to the bathroom. Good bit of old fashioned British police work. No one, make crimes programmes like the British.
With is 3 new wife's 25 kids, but now is house will be his all paid for by UK tax payers. Its gonna be to late we are slowly being out bred now, and their getting into positions of power. Be kicking us out.....?
