I am sad to see people place too much trust in people with some type of authority and worse is when complaints are ignored or covered up. Don't go to church elders. Go to the police and file paperwork.
While the Catholic institution is a protection racket for pedophiles, there are plenty other churches, and clergy of different religions that have plenty of SA in their midst. 93% of all SA is committed by clergy of one stripe or another.
