Criminal Lawyer Reacts to Sarah Literally Thinks She's Going Home Later - JCS 

One question I wish someone had asked Sarah is "How do you play Hide-n-Seek by hiding the person that you're supposed to find?"

"Shes already working with her 7th attorney, because 6 have already decided to get the fuck out of there." That line almost killed me from laughter

She is like an 8 year old - "we did puzzles, some artwork, played hide and seak... can I have my doctor pepper?"

The neighbour heard the suitcase fall down the stairs, bump bump bump. That is why he had dislocated shoulder bruises etc so she probably didn’t lay a hand on him, she threw it downstairs instead , now of course her 8th lawyer has left her!!!’

She’s not getting arrested, they’re just playing hide and seek but instead of a suitcase it’s prison. They‘ll come find her in thirty years or so.

The irony of her being trapped in a place she can't leave regardless of her pleas is a beautiful thing.

I’m a recovering alcoholic with 29 years sobriety. A lot of what Bruce said is true, for quite a while after getting sober we have a different sense of reality. Even so, this is far better than no reality at all which we experience when we're drinking. However, there’s three things I have never done that some people blame alcoholism for. I've never had a DUI, in fact I sold my car as I was never fit enough to drive it. I've never committed SA on anyone, especially a minor. Finally I've never put anyone in a suitcase where they met their demise. You can only blame alcohol for so much, but whatever you do has to be in you to begin with.

I remember her saying "I cant stay in a small jail cell. I'm claustrophobic". I wonder how her husband felt in the suitcase.

Sarah: I would do anything for him! Detective: Well, you wouldn’t let him out of the suitcase.

Jcs voice when he says "that's not how you play hide and seek" cracks me up.

This is a PERFECT opportunity for a suitcase company to create a suitcase with an emergency option on the inside that will open it from the inside...like the lever in a trunk of a car.. I NEVER thought we'd be talking about an emergency exit from the inside of a suitcase 🤦🏼‍♀️😒

I feel like these detectives weren't even listening to her. She clearly stated the wine was to blame, yet they glossed over it and made no attempt to apprehend this violent and unpredictable beverage.

I love your sense of humor. I’ve seen most of these interrogations dozens of times, but your dialogue makes it feel like it’s the first time watching them again.

What she said to the first 6 lawyers, "get me off or we'll play hide and seek with your briefcase" 😂

The BEST line has got to be when Sarah is crying that she will miss the dead guy. Then the detective says "And his children will miss him too." So what does Sarah say? Are you trying to make things worse?". I almost fell off my chair when she said that.

I’m legit convinced, based on her calling her ex husband over that morning to the scene of the murder….the thought crossed her mind to frame him in some way. Thank goodness he ended up not entering the apartment passed the threshold and called the police.

I’ve seen this interrogation before and I didn’t hear one of the best lines this time. Sarah says, adamantly, “It was a good day!” And the guy in the red shirt says “I’d hate to see what a bad day looks like.” 😂😂😂

Sarah saying “but it was an accident” and not understanding why she’s being arrested legitimately reminds me of when I was like four or five telling my mum “but I said sorry” after getting punished and that really bothers me.

Every word out of your mouth was like hanging out with my dad. He, too, was a lawyer. (I come from two lines of lawyers and judges. lol) The 38 years I had with him were filled with his live commentary on TV/radio just like this. We'd laugh and laugh. As a child, he made me memorize, "I respectfully decline to speak until one of my attorneys arrives." (And no, none of this is funny for him, her, their families, etc.. But surely it must be played in every presentation titled "When Narcissism and Severe Alcoholism Combine.") Thanks!

I have been reading about her case online, and reportedly, she is now being represented by her SEVENTH attorney, with six attorneys citing "irreconcilable differences." It sounds as if she is impossible to work with, and it's my guess, that she refuses to accept any responsibility at all.

I have watched this interrogation three times. I am baffled that she thinks it not being intentional means she gets to go home.

You cannot find a better criminal defense attorney than Bruce Rivers. I am lucky enough to have him as my attorney, my personal attorney, and he knows law better than any attorney I’ve ever met in my background his law and his son Michael is just as good as he is, they are both excellent, excellent attorneys, I can’t say enough good things about both of them.

Watched this last night and it's haunting me. What this woman did is so psychologically messed up. It's terrifying to think that someone you trust enough to zip you inside a suitcase, would stand by while you slowly die inside. I can't stop thinking about it.

This was so wild. Don’t you hate when you accidentally zip someone up in a suitcase, film it, fall asleep, then claim it was unintentional and unfair?

This reminds me of working in an airport years back and a guy nearly suffocated to death in a box. The "supervisor" of a company that X-Ray's the bags, thought it would be hilarious if he got into a box, the lads taped it up and threw him onto the conveyorbelts. They did this and thought it wasn't funny enough, so put the box onto the back of a flat bed truck and drove him around the airport, but at this point the guy was having trouble breathing and started pleading to be let out. The drove the box to another conveyor belt and bigger x-ray machine and put it onto it. I wasn't there but at this point, the guy was meant to be in serious panic mode until all went quiet and finally they opened the box. I think it was someone who happened to come upon the scene, saw what was going on and realised something bad was about to happen. The supervisor in the box was completely out but not dead. Had to be admitted to hospital and police investigated it. All got fired!

Almost a year later, still no trial, and the lawyer count is up to what 8..?..9..? Ive watched her interrogation a few times now and find it amusing every time how surprised she is to be getting arrested.😅

When Sarah says “I will never drink alcohol again” and the lawyer says “no shit, you won’t be drinking cause you will be in prison” I cracked up. That was the same thing I thought the first time I saw the video. “I won’t drink ever again, except for an occasional glass of toilet wine my cellmate made”

The video of him saying Sara while she laughs is heartbreaking. Then to learn it would have been a painful slow agonizing death is just horrific.

Her bold face denial while she’s being shown video footage of herself committing the crime is wild. Imagine having an argument with Sarah about anything

@CLR, you need to do a follow up with Sarah’s case. Her 8th lawyer (woman with 40+ years’ criminal law experience) has entered a motion to withdraw. Prior to that, Sarah wrote a 58 page letter to the judge.

The way she describes her day with George was crazy, he crashed his bike in the hallway, he ran into the wall(he’s notorious for running into walls), they played games and hide and seek at 4am. Ironic how childish her relationship with George seems even tho 1 of the first things her baby daddy says is “it’s supposed to be her day with the kids she’s always bad about this,” obviously she was more busy raising her 42 year old boyfriend.
