On Monday, 26-year-old Scarlet Blake was jailed for life - with a minimum of 24 years - after being convicted of murdering a man she deliberately targeted as part of a sexual fantasy. Dubbed the Oxford Cat Killer - Blake's case has shocked our resident criminologist, David Wilson, who says this rare series of events bears a striking resemblance to a previous case that became famous around the world.

I remember going to a true crime talk and they mentioned how many killers had past history of animal abuse!

@@luisae6917basically all the big names, BTK (Dennis Rader), Ted Bundy, Golden State Killer (Joseph DeAngelo), Gary Ridgeway, Jeffery Dahmer. All of them had a history in their childhood and teens of abusing, torturing and killing animals

There are many victims, all because of this person and failure of police and mental health services and ultimately this government for not habing services in place to arrest and section these evil people. Regards the victims, there are MANY, the young man and all his family and friends and the cat and the neighbour. All these lives have been ruined by this evil person

David Wilson is a world renound expert in criminology. He has published many books, he has personally dealt with many of the countries most notorious killers. He is a professor of criminology at Birmingham university. He even holds the title of the countries youngest prison governor. He governed wormwood scrubs at the mere age of 28! So don't insult his experience that is foolish. David has devoted his life to criminology and crime prevention and he deserves nothing but respect. If you really believe the misuse of a pronoun discredits your entire career then your a fool
