9:41 Atleast puneet is extremely self aware and honest which can be hardly seen in ppl nowadays. He seems like an intelligent guy who is ready to be shameless and do cringe stuff for fame.
I know this is already well established but the way you present things Mohak, its really amazing. Such balanced and nuanced perspective is always difficult to present but you do it with so much ease. Keep up ❤

Well, the algorithm is designed to push content that engages people more, no matter the opinion. So its not the algorithm which is playing the major part here,(even though technically the algorithm is the thing that gives recommendations which one watches) it is the viewer engagement that is the cause.
What is skill? Who decides juggling cups is not skill, while dribbling ball with stick is a skill? There is no shortcut. 27000 videos on tik tok without being famous, selling tea since 2007.
Exactly, they make it entertaining. They are putting efforts and are very consistent which is a skill in itself. I know it's shocking that they are earning a lot but come on everyone has the access to phone so anyone can do it, don't blame the player blame the game. Hate them or love them but do not call them unskilled. They are very skilled at manipulating the viewers and grabbing their attention.
Exactly bro!!! they are doing what everyone is doing with their own uniqueness and flavour. There are millions of chaiwala but only dolly became famous because of his style whether we like it or not. People need to consider their consistency, getting viral and most importantly capitalising it.
While it’s great that some creators are earning substantial amounts of money, we can’t glorify such content simply because the audience wants to see it. Many social media platforms, whether X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, or TikTok, thrive on negativity and contribute to mental decline. To put it more simply, people on OnlyFans may earn a lot of money, but should that be glorified? On the surface, everything looks easy, and the luxurious lifestyles portrayed can be enticing. However, behind the scenes, what about self-dignity, self-esteem, and the worsening mental health that often results from hate comments? Some creators have openly discussed in interviews how these pressures have negatively impacted their mental well-being. Additionally, we must consider the influence of such content on children growing up today, many of whom are now creating similar content themselves. Many young people perceive this as an easy way to achieve success, often bypassing the hard work required for their studies. Nowadays, it seems that everyone wants to go viral on social media, regardless of whether the attention is positive or negative. Such content contributes nothing positive to society; instead, it fosters sadism, voyeurism, and hate.

The irony is, the people who hate them are the ones who make them famous. Remember bad criticism is so criticism and bad publicity is so publicity...simple as that...
Mohak, I would request you to make video on the issue on current ongoing West Bengal Junior Doctors Hunger Strike since last 15 days for 10 point demands (especially 9 addressing the systematic despotism, injustices, lawlessness, institutionalised corruption, extortion, threat culture and illegal political nexus & safety). 11 junior doctors are at "fast unto death" (7 since last 15 days then 4 joined more). Their conditions are detoriating pretty much. 5 of them are currently in ICU critically! A deadline is now issued till Tuesday by "West Bengal Junior Doctors Front" or they would go for total healthcare shutdown throughout the state. Already around 250 senior doctors all over the State gave mass resignation to their support & insensitivity of Momt@ Govt. towards them. FEMA already issued a strict letter to her a week ago. But still no effect!! It may be under state list but this issue should be nationally taken and national outrage is needed to put pressure on the contemporary extreme insensitive callous attitudes of the WB Govt towards our doctors who are made to be in between life & death just for demanding safety & genuine rights!!!! It's shameful that such important thing is getting no national media coverage.
Only thing I understand from these cringe creators is that they have nothing to lose.... If people hate them, it doesn't bother them at all because most of them don't care. The cringe popularity brings the cash and with cash they can afford to bear all the hate.
But are they wrong though? Like they aren't spreading misinfo, or lying, or giving bad morals, they just do humour which we find "cringey" but others might like. How do we know that WE are not cringey and need to "stop"? I am tired of this "the guy is cringey and he needs to stop" take
@@leaDR356Finally someone said it!!!I see so many ppl going out of their way to hate them or call them 'cringe', but neither agree to not watching such content, nor feel the need to rethink whether the word 'cringe' really has a concrete meaning and not a way of being jealous
@@leaDR356 Well the issue is a lot of people actually look up to these low effort content creators, imagine a society where everyone acts and dresses lime dolly chai waala would you want to like in such a society?
@@leaDR356 actually nothing is wrong here.... If people don't like them they can easily ignore but you know we have a tendency to either love or hate people so yeah they get popular because of that
@@youngmutang9221 exactly! I think cringe is an overused term these days and when you think about it, it always comes to personal choice of either to watch these people or not.... In my opinion, nothing is black and white here... It's all grey.
Hello mohakk..how do u do this??i mean plz tell the sequence how to satrt how to cover all perspectives n whn without getting out the topic..all..these r reasons i love ur videos..actually m preparing for afsb it would b helpfull for me in lecturette
Mohak, It is about the way these creators are influencing the youth. If these traits were limited to their USP that could have been fine but these creators even tent to show their lifestyle, what they wear, how they live etc. which is mostly not true. Their USP may not attract the youth but there show off may which will lead them to do the so called cringe activities. I really hate this term ‘Social media “INFLUENCERS” because of them.
I also write Poems, had an insta account, Twitter account but no one value. These days artists are not valued , smarts are valued. Jinke pass koi art nhi bhi hai vo khud artist bnkar famous ho rahe.
You have lost hope way too soon. As Mohak said it took time even for them to get viral. You also most probably dont use hashtags properly. Study how social media works .
Kya sach me tumne utni mehnat kri jitna ye kr rhe? ... Bro 2000 videos puneet ki flop gyi.. Still lga rha lga rha.... He did so he is here..... Aapka kya.... Never abuse who have fame.... Bhai unhone kuch kra hai...beyond society kya kahegi soche
Brain rot. I used to open Instagram once a week to catch up on friends' memes. I haven't opened it in the last 3 months. I'm much happier than them with the regular dose
Would have a loved a few more minutes on this. Some more light on a few papers that study what goes viral would have been a great addition. Good video nonetheless
8:37 bhai Dolly bilkul hate deserve nahi karta. 15 saal se uski chaai pite hum. Jab social media nahi thha, tab se wo stall pe entertain karta hai. Logo ne video bana bana ke usko popular kiya. Usme uski kya galti bhai? Wo toh bas logo ko entertain karta hai.
Its still educational tho And tbf it was the first time a generation was introduced to social media before even hitting 18 Our parents didnt even know about social media for majority of their life Not to mention puberty and everything playing its own part as well I hope we all mature at the end
One guy here commented that our generation is doomed. I think the online content has become worst and best at the same time.Choose which one u want to see and algorithm does rest. Its just one side of the social media.
@@Vishal-sr1uj but the majority are poor and students, yes im talking about students, most of the students in my school waste most of their time admiring these cringe creators (also the internet prices have increased by 25%)
Im keeping eye on every video to understand better the depth of your content because after applying for the position of script writer i just realised how hard its going to be
OMG finally a sensible video...i will never understand people saying that they dont "deserve" their succss, becwuse college students are working so hard...it comes from a place of entitlement...like..what is stopping you sir/mam from posting the same content and making money? Do the same...if you think its easy money..simple!
The problem is that we Indians like these content specially Indian mothers, we aren't taught about other career and things in childhood, so all we know is that the main work can be content creation , engineer, doctor, etc. This can be fixed by educating children about other career options.
Arre Bhai ye bas India mein nai pure world mein hota hai Hawk tuah girl ko dekhle ya fir ishowspeed ko aur bhi bahut example hai Par unhe cringe keh dena galat hai they are entertaining unhone apna ek raasta aur audience dhundi
this self validating voyeurism is the most accurate explanation for their popularity, i know it pretty well coz im one of the self validating voyeur myself
Rather than developing skills for jobs and focusing on education and self development these today's youth is enjoying and promoting such useless things. This is the reason why unemployment is touching the sky in India 🙁🙁
Well said mohak bhai. I have no comparison mentally or superiority complex, neither love nor hate them. At the end of the video, if someone brings a smile, i do thank them. Chahe woh Kapil ho ya Puneet. We should learn to take only the comedy and leave the rest. Take care.
That's why I have full respect for you, Mohak. You have the power to distinguish between what is right and what is wrong. I don't think content creators like CarryMinati deserve the title of 'content creator.' As for cringe content, I never watch those because I prefer to wait for original creators like you.Thank you 🤘

12:49 "If a foreigner were accomplishing what Punit bhai and Dolly bhai are achieving, we would likely praise and admire their efforts. Yet, surprisingly, some people criticize and disparage these individuals simply because they hail from our own country. Despite creating content that resonates with audiences and generates revenue, they face unwarranted hatred. Let's not forget Punit bhai's compassionate gestures, such as feeding monkeys and underprivileged individuals on the streets. Can other content creators claim similar philanthropic efforts? Before condemning someone, let's pause and reflect on their positive contributions."
Thing is, this isn't limited to the Indian subcontinent, but also in countries like USA and Europe. Hawk Tuah girl comes in mind when talking about cringe creators.
How life feels after listening to Thick of It by KSI simultaneously with "Dilon ka shooter hai mera scooter" by Dhinchak Pooja While eating Lunchly and drinking Prime and Dolly's Chai while watching the Talk Tuah podcast and Puneet : 🗣️🔥
Just saying someone cringe because they doesn't fit in your prospective of good morals is most cringe thing. Everyone has different view of world and different opinions. If your view is not allinged with the majority, you will be called cringe . That's the reality of our generation.
Great point my friend I was thinking the same thing. And also mostly because they think they are they deserve it and these people don't. They are just envious that's all
He has all the freedom to choose his topics. But you don't have freedom to choose the spelling of english words. So 'carrier' should be 'career', unless you really mean it. : )
The opposite of love is not hate it's indifference. Just don't give them your attention. Don't talk about them. Don't think about they will automatically become irrelevant
Todays kids don't have option to go out and play with friends as we did im our childhood. We used to come home at night 9pm after playing since 5pm but todays kids only watch mobiles even they meet and share reels. Old days wont come back man.
I don't even know the existence these creators until I watched this video. This video introduced me those creators. Anyways, if you don't find any content valuable then don't watch it. Dislike it or click "not-interested" if it appears in your feed. Like, subscribe and comment the content which you find valuable. You decide what is valuable and what's not.
Mohak, your contents were always informative but now it is turning to be philosophical too. The best part is that you can narrate a story by becoming a part of the story as well as completely detaching yourself from the story. Great work.
