are you warming up to batwoman yet? its not bad. the wife likes it, she loves these shows more than I do for sure (and not because of any sjw power girl shit)
I mean of course CW Flash would survive. RIP Flash 90. Also, my one MAJOR nitpick was the fact that we only had Black Lightning and not his super powered daughters involved as well. Considering Jenn's energy powers she would have been very helpful but alas. And let's be real. The cameos were total fan service and not really important considering everything else going on.
My name is Oliver Queen. After "five years on a hellish island," I have come home with only one goal, to save my city. But to do so, I can't be the killer I once was. To honor my friend's memory, I must be someone else. I must be... something else.....THE SPECTRE.
Thank you for yet another tremendous breakdown. Some random thoughts: 1. Ryan Choi=The Asian Invasion > Anti-monitor. ;) 2. The Monitor is the universe's WORST librarian. You let a bad guy with no subtlety steal the one library book that every one has eyes on. 3. Loved the Flash/Barry swap out. Straight from the comic books. 4. Saaaatan? 5. Get the feeling, the Lazarus Pit is a nasty pea soup that has never been properly drained and cleaned.
and another one who hasnt read all the comics and wacthed all the shows. ur peewee brain couldnt make any of this nor understand it unless u were fully invested.
I do love the fact that CW pulled out the stops, to give us all some excellent 'fan service' even if it was for only brief cameos, like the 'Birds of Prey' one. Some might say its too much, but not me (we've bee watching these shows for how many years now? Its good that they are rewarding all of us Kevin Smith-esque fans with details like this ^_^). I am curious, though. With the homages to all the TV/Movie Supermen being given, why not Dean Cain's version (perhaps because he plays a character on Supergirl)? Also, why not go WAY back and homage the old "Superboy" series, or the original George Reeves version? I also wonder if they will go with the concept of just a Singular Earth, or keep the Multiverse, but now its only just 52 Earths (as in the "New 52"). Being old enough to remember the original Flash series, I think it was a fitting wrap up to the Shipp version of Barry Allen; finally getting the 'Series Finale' he didn't really get in his own show, in a way.
I think Supergirl's version of Superman & Lois ARE this generations: Loris & Clark because Brandon Routh's Superman was supposed to be the 'Christopher Reeves' version. Remember SMALLVILLE's version was initially about SUPERBOY not Superman. And I said the same thing, a homage to the Original TV version of Superman (George Reeves) would have been 'respectful' to say the least and pleased all of us OG fans in the room.
I am enjoying the crossover so far. A lot of things are just feeling rather rushed. The whole thing does feel like it should have been more like 12 parts rather than 5 or 6. It would have been great to see Lois and Clark versions of Lois and Clark even if just quick red wave of death appearances. I also really want to see Characters like Wonder Woman and the Green lantern core even IF it was just quick flashes rather than major roles. The whole thing is feeling like there should be more to it but for what ever reason it was scaled down.
I felt like they are teasing that even as Lucifer is ending on Netflix he and jon could end up having a show together ...this episode was better and can I just say Brandon is killing it as superman I mean my gosh he not only is embodying the character he makes you believe in him I sware he is really making Tyler look bad as superman
QuEsT X. BoXiNg Which is why it was so crappy that they took Superman Returns out this episode. I hope he’s comes back in the next two episodes to be back in the final battle, but it doesn’t look like it.
There was a Constantine series. I really liked it but it got cancelled. Lucifer just doesnt have the same vibe as Constantine. Lucifer is more playful and funny, while Constantine is pretty dark. I miss both of them.
The only way to get the maximum number character crossovers from every DC property ever made is to stuff each episode to the brim with really short cameos. It tends to water down the story because it's just cameo after cameo, but at the same time, it captures the infinite Earths idea really well. I find it easier to think of the whole crossover as a bunch of cameos first, tied together by a story second. LOL.
I feel like having black lightning being the humanity paragon would have included him more and makes sense because in his show he shows how much he cares about people and his community
Hey heavyspoilers just letting you know that your comment on these cameos in your words are a bit small and yes they are but maybe with the upcoming comic book tie-in to this tv event coming December 15th might give these characters more life
Ep 3 showed how good team flash is. They showed up and got things moving. None of those heroes ever thought of trying to find the source of the wave? Team arrow is lost without Oliver he excels at leading and organizing in battles. Team supergirl could match them but it's disorganized and not used effciently she leads by emotions mostly. Batwoman needs no large team she has her tech sidekick and doctor sister.
lucifer is the same one of the show where he has a night club ? ( I haven’t watch the lucifer show but i think the actor looks similar but im not sure )
I’m just glad I didn’t bother catching up on the last 3 years of these shows before I watched this this. There’s been some cool moments but overall, it’s been disappointing.
You want to see from ep 1 of the flash you wanted to see Barry sacrifices himself to prevent the crisis And I think to my self. Why you people like to see a hero fell, die trying. Just like the goblin says in spiderman, what the people wanted to see the most is for a hero to fall, die trying... WHY
@@adisuyash could be that but he isn't the paragon of truth lex can write in the book all he wants lex is not the paragon of truth so they probably changed it to something bad since lex is a bad guy
Why didn't they just get Future green arrow from 2046 earth 16 to sacrifice himself. I mean they had that scene with getting superman's baby back they coulda just brougth him thru the breach portal instead of leave him there sad. He was all depressed and alone and gave up on life. This woulda been his chance to redeem himself. I mean the flash from earth 90 sacrificed himself instead of the regular flash. Just seems like outsourcing the whole dying in crisis thing to another version of urself from another universe is the way to go.
I am not enjoying the fast pace either. Why bother to go to all this trouble to cast and pay these actors from older shows to only show them for a minute. I barely have time to explain who that person is, where they come from, etc and we are on to a new scene with new characters!! Did Burt Ward really need to be credited for that 30 second cameo? Cuz that's all it is. With the exception of Rouths Superman and I guess Contastine I don't feel like we are getting that fan service that was promised. Like game of thrones. Too many characters, and too short of a run with no time to explain.
You can rest now ...there is a lot of woke moments for sure. Also is extremely cheesy.. there is a lot of fun service.. and in total is an extremely cheesy cheesy poor written avengers ripoff..
they are different universe...lucifer will be fine.... it a shame CW don't had budget for the show.... THEY had LUCIFER.... what more do they needed....
What I think is naughty. We have three supergirls (Helen Slater, Laura Vandervoort and Melissa Benoist).Helen Slater i understand because of her age. But why the hell was Laura Vandervoort not as Supergirl in Crisis on Infinite Earths But it is clear. The cw have fear that Laura Melissa outpowers. lol
Ugh, your snarky opinions get on my last nerves. I’m just looking for a straight up recap to send to a friend... FYI- your “Lian Yu” joke was not funny. Just recap the episode and compare it to the comic. Your other commentary has taken away from the enjoyment of your videos.
Man, I what a bloated mess. Show series on streaming networks have made this type of TV largely irrelevant. I feel bad you even have to watch it to these recaps, but “when duty calls” I guess. I can’t stomach watching these but, with all the throwback hype around Crisis they definitely peaked my curiosity so I watch your videos after the fact and end up thankful I didn’t waste an hour of my life. You know, I could forgive the poor special effects if the writing and story wasn’t so abysmal. And poor Routh (aka the “Christopher Reeves/ Kingdom Come Superman), from what I just saw in your video was there any point to him other than have him battle Earth 38’s Superman in what looked be a shitty version of a fan made “verses” RU-vid video?
