This Simple and easy Fried Chicken Recipe is Crispy & Delicious!!
Ingredients
Whole Chicken cut in pieces (3-4 1bs)
1 tbsp Chicken Seasoning
1 -2 tsp salt
1-2 tsp black pepper
1-2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp paprika
2-3 cups flour
Salt & black pepper
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp sugar (optional)
Water
Cooking oil
Use recipe as a guide

I've been telling the people for years that you don't need eggs or milk to get cripy fried chicken that they are looking for. I told them water is the best thing you can use to get that texture. Nice job sister, that looks delicious!

I agree with Eli on this. Out of eggs and milk. Frying boneless chicken breast this way and.. granted I marinated my chicken overnight cuz I got lazy.. this recipe is great! It's easy! Try it!

Me too!!! im noticing the starchy residue from the first layer of flour still coats the chicken even after the water soak. I wonder if you can do this process 2-3 times to create a super thick crust.

They look awesome. My neighbor who runs a food truck just gave me 10lbs of chicken thighs. I think I'm going to cold smoke them with some apple wood and try this recipe tonight. You've got a subscriber here. One of my maintenance techs working for me was from Jamaica. His cooking was so good, he catered a company picnic. I look forward to seeing your other recipes.

tip: you can add a little bit of water to the flour to make it more cracky, therefore crispier chicken

This was delicious! I have never used water or sugar when frying chicken but now these are my secret ingredients to a truly crispy chicken - ok I will share the secret since you shared with us 😊. I also did not have a dutchie for deep frying and used a cast iron skillet on top of the stove. The end results were perfect. Thanks for a wonderful recipe!

That's brilliant, the marinade before the breading. Then the water. Pretty crafty. The Japanese style fried chicken does the marinade also. Thank you for the nice video.
