Even though he seemed a little over confident throughout the season i felt kinda bad for Michael you can see any hope leave his face when he sees the raw chicken

Time to rewatch the episode for 27th time

Temperature plays a huge part, letting the chicken not go cold helps it cook faster. It's like of course the frozen chicken (Just as an example do not fry frozen chicken you will start a fire) would take longer to cook over one that's had time to soften up. You want the breast if boneless for instance to be floppy and below 15-30 degrees of the room. If you temp chicken before hand you will know which ones are gonna be colder and then therefore take longer to cook. I hope I helped some of you out! I used too be a chef, no school. But I learned a lot. And I'm still learning. I love answering questions so I'll do my best!

I was taught once the breast is cooked the others should be. I use “should” because in a few instances some of the smaller pieces of chicken turned out to be raw in a few spots. But the majority of times I cook fry chicken they come out good and well cooked

The second girls leg was still a bit raw! The leg is the fastest thing to cook!

Simple because they took this journey. But, Are they recognized? Or do they just go home as home cooks? To try to improve their cooking skills?

I like that they were not gloating at Michael's failure and expense - they were feeling bad for him. This is why I like MasterChef Canda more than others - the contestants and judges are humans, not drama-seeking diva's

I'm not going to lie, whenever I fry something like chicken katsu, I like to fry it and then put it in the oven on a rack so it can finish cooking, that way it remains juicy
