Another great recipe, thanks for all the work you put into these videos, you've helped me put dinner on the table a numerous occasions, going to cook another one tonight for dinner! All the best from Australia
Yeah, I don't understand how anyone could "thumbs down" on your videos! Well crafted, good rhythm, great recipes, easy to understand! Maybe there are rampant vegans trolling RU-vid and thumbing down barbecue channels. Don't be dishearten by the haters out there. You are doing a great job!
I've had the Meater for about 6 or 7 months now and can totally vouch for it's performance. Even for little things like getting a steak exactly how you want it. Totally worth the money.
That's a very nice cut of pork. It would make a good center piece for a taco party where you could have tender meat and crispy skin in each taco. I really like the thermometer, I gotta have one. Nice gift as well. I'm liking the apron too!
There are a number of battery chemistries that actually like high temperatures. Sodium metal batteries have a very high, superior to lithium, and they operate over an extremely broad temperature range.
Roel...my personal opinion...your channel is pushing to the Top Spot BBQ channel on RU-vid. There are amazing US based guys with Top Channels like Malcolm reed, rus Jones and more. Mate you are on their level for me....informative, recipes from all over the world, very nice guy--> amazing channel. Keep it going!👍💪 I'm asking myself...you we're a cook in your day to day Job?? Or nothing to do with cooking at all? Best greeets Cheers
I have always been a maintenance guy.. barbecue is my passion as well making beautiful videos. I love creating! It's an honor to get a comment like this Andre!
That thermometer looks great and impressive I ordered it to give it a try but my only question is how many cooks can it with stand before the heat finially breaks it, 10, 20, 40, 60 cooks??...thanks PITMASTERX for the discount love your channel.
Mustashi' s Dojo yeah sure if you click the arrow down below the video in the description he has the website and 15% discount code... save you time site is eustore.meater.com Discount code; PITMASTERX15
Hey Roel! Thanks for letting me know :) I checked out their website and made an account. How heavy was this pork leg? I noticed there are many different options. I understood from the customer service that when you choose more weight, the leg becomes bigger. I am looking for a few legs, not very huge legs, that's why. All the best!
Making this today, its already on the smoker :-). Am taking it a bit longer, i think for the first smoke around 140 degrees for 2 hours. Then we will cranck it up for nice crispy skin. Still making awsome video's guys, although this one is from the old mancave ;-)
wow!! I've never seen a pork leg in the store or even at the butcher. I will have to look for it and try this!! this weekend I am doing a few whole chickens. if anyone wants to check it out I have a few videos already!! thanks and great work!!
Maybe I missed it...but what was the name of the thermometer please...thanks and love your vids as always! Just bought a Napoleon pro 500 with help from your review...thanks and I love it...hope to see you use it in future videos
Hoe lang duurde het ongeveer totdat hij op 90 graden was? Wel handig om even te vermelden in de video. Ziet er wel weer smakelijk uit!!! Wanneer kunnen we een keer komen proeven?!
Hey Roel, I've been using the Meater for a few months. It's a great product, gives the ambient as well as meat temperature and charts it all on your phone. It also keeps a history of your cooks. I wouldn't bother using it for a steak but for chickens/joints it's great. Don't know how long the battery would last for something like a low and slow brisket. Let me know if you do a long cook with it.
Moet die ‘meater’ niet tot het streepje in het vlees geschoven worden? Nu wordt de omgevingstemperatuur niet goed waargenomen lijkt me. Streepje zit ergens op 3/4.
Yeah I thought the same thing. I'm on several BBQ forums, and it seems 8 out of 10 hate the thing. Amazing ribs doesn't trust the company with timely releases. Then he's all the best thermometer of 2018. LOLOLOL when there are thermoworks products out there. That check must have been nice.
PUNKem733 money talks. Don't fall for it. Do your own research. Reach on the thermometer sucks like a working girl. And this guy is spraying positivity like a confetti cannon. I'll bet this time was the last time we see him using it.
I've been following meater since they were a kickstarter. I'll just keep waiting until a competent company makes a well made wireless probe thermometer.
From what I can tell it’s Bluetooth only and up to 10metre range. Which is terrible for my use. They have another preorder product which is loads more expensive where the base acts as a Bluetooth to WiFi bridge. May as well buy a CyberQ device or similar then.
