Great recipe, can’t wait to try. We were wondering if you think the coconut oil is integral or if it could be substituted? No worries if you’re not sure
Thanks - I’ve not tried it with any other fats. Coconut oil works in this recipe because it is solid at room temperature. Your best bet would be vegan butter, if I had to guess. If you do try something else, let me know!
Interesting you post about your love for a dog so you should understand how sentient and beautifull animals are, but then on the other hand your willing to take the lives of creature who would love you just as much as that dog for a reason as weak as gluttony
I can handle certain vegan foods like tofu, soy, most plant based items, jackfruit and shiitake mushrooms but I can’t do this sh** Vegan bacon is disgusting asf I’d rather have some nitrate free good pig 🐷 bacon!!! I’ll give my body a break from pork and cow from time to time but I can’t do vegan forever sh** is to much and my inner animal comes out on people 😂
Other than killing animals. What other things are good about veganism? Don’t come at me with nutritional and health stuff, cuz that’s not true and I’ve heard it too many times. Keep this civil. What is it about animals that keeps you from eat mint certain ones?
@@mango4227 I refuse to eat any animals, not just certain animals. Not wanting to kill animals is more than reason enough to not eat them. No other reason is needed. It's wrong to cause unnecessary cruelty to others, period.
@@monemori and why should others follow your ideas? Why is killing an animal for food such a bad thing? Meat and poultry are used for many homeless shelters and are the basic needs of many people. What can we truly substitute meat for? More over, what do you have to say on the expensive maintenance and shipping and co2 produced by the production of vegan products?
@@mango4227 We should not kill animals for the exact same reasons we don't kill dogs, cats or humans. Lots of plant based foods are high in protein. Protein is very easy to get as a vegan as long as you are eating things like lentils, beans, chickpeas, tofu, or any other legume based products, seeds, nuts, seitan... The list goes on. Because of basic thermodynamics, production of plants takes massively less resources than producing the same amount of calories in the form of animal foods. Also shipping is a minuscule part of the cost of the overall food production. I can't link stuff here, but look up the article by Our Wolrd In Data called "you want to reduce the carbon footprint of your food? Focus on what you eat, not whether your food is local". Regardless, killing animals would be just as wrong if done locally. Just like killing you or my cat would be cruel and evil whether done at your house or Anctartica.
