Ronaldo carried RM in the UCL ko stages against Bayern, Atletico, Juventus with his 10 goals and scored crucial goals in la liga so RM could win it. Perez was throwing so much shade in his speech, he's a snake. Cristiano Ronaldo is the best in Real Madrid history and arguably in football history yet he was saying "after De Stefano" and "after him there will be a new phase".. when the leaked audios came out we got the full picture. Perez hated Cristiano's guts and was only baring with him because of his achievements, he really thought after him there will be someone who matches his achievements which was proven almost impossible when he left. This lack of respect is what eventually pushed him to leave, Cristiano is an exception and should have been treated as such. No one is bigger than the club but in Cristiano's case that's not true. He's still the most influential athlete in the world and will continue to be so no matter how his enemies over hype new talents. I mean Mbappé is good but he's nowhere near Cristiano when he was the same age, yet the money put in him to overhype by the media is INSANE.
