When Owen asks Meredith if Cristina is going to come down the stairs, Meredith doesn't say anything and just smiles. They both know with Cristina, it wasn't a certainty.
LOVED Christinas dress. Loved her first wedding dress too but Burke always pushed her too much to change who she was. Owen let her be who she was. was so happy when they got married. Mer looked great too minus that HUGE necklace.
Burke never tried to change who she was. She was willing to do certain things for him to make him happy. That's what she told him but remember everything she did was her choice. He just made it clear how he felt and what he wanted but what he wanted was a wife and mother and that's not what Christina wanted and wasn't built for. In the beginning she told him that all they had in common was medicine. She loved Preston Burke the surgeon not Preston Burke the man.
@@faithwatkins7811 nope..he did change her..in a way she didn't even know.. remember christina saying to owen that burke took little pieces of her and when she realise that she isn't was she was and what she wants..burke left her.
You can tell the difference from this wedding and and the one with burk. One she came down the stairs and two she says owen instead of his last name like burk. This is my favorite couple in the show.
I love the fact the whole actual wedding scene between the two of them is wordless from Cristina and Owen except for her "i do", almost like it's making a point she's saying those words and actually means it, unlike the whole Burke wedding drama :) love this scene!
They look SO in love. It's undeniable that these two are meant for each other. I loveee the way they look at each other so lovingly. And don't even get me started on the kiss!
geeesh I so love the fact that Owen is smiling all throughout the times they're putting their rings on, it shows that he feels "he's the luckiest guy in the world". that him and cristina are finally getting married.. Oh Kevin McKidd you're such a great actor
That's like the nicest Owen and Meredith has ever been to each other.. Ever since then it's been Yappidy Yappidy Yap Yap Yap! I like it when Owen said "She is gonna come down those steps right?" and Meredith just smiles. :)
At this time Owen loved Cristina and made her better in all possible ways... Burke loved her but he tried to make her better changing her so ...Burke loved her but Owen loved her better.... without mentioning that he cheated on her last season and i hate him but well.. things change, people change, we never know which chocolate will get from the box.
Owen wanted to change Cristina too... So burke loved Cristina and he knew Cristina is not a motherly figure or wifey...so he let her go and set free but owen blamed her for not wanting to have kids and cheated ... He knew she was a career driven still married yet when she didn't change he decided to get mad and cheat... I don't like owen... I like burke...burke loved and always loved Cristina and later he even gave his position to her because for him no one was better then Cristina...
@ForeverErica Me too! I was on the edge of my seat waiting for something bad to happen and for once it didn't! This wedding was so Cristina whereas the one to Burke was everything she didn't want in a wedding. I feel like I can finally breathe a sigh of relief when it comes to Cristina and Owen, they're married! No more turmoil for them! Love it!
I LOVE Cristina's "I know" when Meredith tell her she looks beautiful! SO Cristina! :D ...and I especially love Meredith telling Cristina that Owen is perfect. I guess Mer is finally on Team Owen!
Foi muito emocionante o casamento deles , a paixão deles era contagiante nunca deveria ter acabado, deveria ter continuado e com o tempo Cristina aceitasse ter o filho que Owem tanto queria e quanto a carreira ela iria conseguir porque ele ajudaria realizar o seu grande sonho de sucesso em ser uma grande cardiologista e eles seriam felizes,essa mudança na história deles é triste porque a sintonia era perfeita desde o começo.

I still want it to be Owen now that he already got kids but his ultimate love will still be Cristina and hers will still be him, it will just be the 2 of them cause Owen's kids will all be grown ups by then.
Burk y Owen trataron de cambiar a Cristina la diferencia es que Burk si lo logro pero la dejo cuando se dio cuenta que ella no era una madre , en cambio Owen también trato de cambiar en el echo de tener hijos pero ya que Cristina no se dejó cambiar y aborto al bebé Owen la engaño con otra mujer , según Cristina el la engañó por qué la quería lastimar , pero igual me gustaba cuando Cristina y Owen no se abian casado y también me gustó cuando se divorciaron y volvieron a estar juntos .

Was this all a mistake? At that time I was so ecstatic that they got married. Did Cristina truly want the marriage? Owen was all in. At that time I thought yes, she seemed a little sad, or serious but I thought it was because of PTSD, but her eyes had a special glow like she wanted to marry Owen. when she walked down the stairs she looked so intensely at him, when she put the wedding band on his finger, she smiled.
Chana FB they definitely should’ve discussed that before getting married/serious. If only Cristina wanted a kid/ Owen didn’t want a kid then crowen could’ve lasted :(
Chana FB exactly, the biggest problem with their marriage was the baby issue...& maybe some codependency issues, but all in all they were happy to be married to each other & this moment was real
All of those things got spoiled for me too when I was on season 6, except George’s death. I remember figuring out a second before Meredith said “George” and I was so shook. I also thought Derek was gonna die in the shooting at first
@royallly They're not trying to replace Burke. Isaiah Washington screwed himself out of the show and Burke's storyline ended because of it. Owen and Burke are two separate characters which people seem to forget.
@silveranswer Actually, now that we know she's a virgin, it makes total sense that she would get so emotional. She just feels like everyone else is getting their happy ending except her :'(
i love this wedding then the burke wedding this is so christines style and its the way she wanted. i think her and owen are meant to be except when it comes to having a baby....

He was taken off the show for some homophobic comment against Knight a.k.a George. He just left the show at the end of season three, saying he didn't want to make Cristina do anything against her will. They were engaged to be married, but Cristina didn't want it.
