Not gonna lie, I loved #1 and 2. 2 was better than 1, except I really liked Sam in the first one.

arguably, the animated one has far more references and it evolves over time. my favorite is the way Nott drinks from the flask, mirroring Sam

I love the animated one but immediately missed the old one 😅

@@bigbundle3223 I don’t think they’re really references. Sam is really mirroring Nott, not the other way round. He has a flask ‘cause Nott has a flask. It’s just animations of what their characters do mostly.

That was me until last week lol There was one point I saw this character who had dark skin and white hair ( not Yasha) and was trying to figure out who it was and then in looking at all the characters I found out about the situation.... and I think I'm actually on the ep that it happens in but I didn't finish it and went back to the first campaign without knowing what happened.

I started on campaign one but it seemed to start about half way through the campaign? Anyone have an idea why

oliver worley the reason is is because Geek and Sundry didn’t pick them up until they were already halfway through Vox Machina. They were already like, level 5 when they actually started airing on twitch.

Oddly enough the 1st intro in this video is the streams 2nd into. The origional intro was each actor doing a brief overview of their characters back story or general personality. But as far as intros actually featuring the actors, not just their voices, these are it.

Fully agree. Seriously, I love the second one the most, it is perfect. In the third one you only see the players and the animated one is only depictiong what is happening in their minds. As great as they are, they feel disjointed; not fully depicting what Critical Role is. Also, the second one is brilliant. From the costumes, make-up, acting and all the visual effects, to the perfection that is Matt taking off the mask. He is the only one, who wears a different face as a character as he is the only one, who isn't living the character but rather changing masks depending on who the party meets. Every enemy, every NPC is a mask that Matt puts on for that part and then drops to don another. Epic visual storytelling.

I hope that means you enjoyed the intro for campaign 3 too

You can still hear all of those intro's in the first couple episodes, although the pictures are blurred. So at least the lovely sounds of the introduction are still on the internet. Also ale.

@@riaanprinsloo562 lol damn. I mean Tibs was a cool character. Just Orion was a bit difficult at times and didn't always pay attention to what his items/spells actually did. But still overall good guy. Plus this was early on, those guys still make mistakes in the new campaign. Shit happens. Have fun and move on.

@@just2red4u I mean Orion cheated on his dice rolls and stuff. Always played up wanting Allura or Vex as his waifu. And then fucked over a bunch of people on kickstarter and made a series of an alternate timeline to make Vox Machina look dumb. So I wouldn't say he's a "good guy."

@@krokenlochen Yeah I'm aware of that. He also had a drug problem and other health problems. The guy wants to change. So yeah, he's trying to be a good guy. Gotta give him the opportunity too change. Just my opinion.

Yup, alphabetical order of their C1 character names. It continued into the first intro of Campaign 2 (the 80's themed one) before changing for the animated intro
