This is what puts CR apart from a lot of other D&D shows... these people are fucking amazing actors and improvisers.... they got their head in the game!
To be fair, in retrospect. she was also alot more fun and entertaining as nott and before she became veth. now its more like meh and family all the time. so yeah, might be something to it that it is better to not have everything upfront.
@@mermidion7552 can't really blame her though. Veth finally got her life back. Ofcourse she's going to want to see her family as much as she can do. Not really her fault nobody else in the party has one.

Veth coming up from the water and going "I'LL KILL ALL OF YOU" hurts way more now the same way Caleb waking up and yelling "TAKE THEM OUT" hurts just as much
so glad somone finally put together a compilation of this, these two have my favorite relationship its beyond sibling level, Its like mother in law and son in law level.

i think fjord and nott accidentally developed one of the most nuanced relationships of campaign 2 and i love them so much. Special thanks for including that talks machina clip, it sums them up so well in their own words. Also realizing that this began with travis/sam messing with each other makes it a lot easier to see the similarities in grog and scanlan's friendship
The Grog vs Vax prank war was a thing of beauty but I really think Travis bit off more than he could chew when he instigated a battle of wits with Sam Fucking Riegel
If you rewatch the episodes from before he switched accents you can hear him break it sometimes and it sounds like the new accent which is weird cause idk if he intended for it to be that way but I’ve noticed it a lot
I cried when the traveler shielded jester from that happy fun ball dragon and I cried when Nott said she only mocks fjord bc she knows he's strong enough to take it

Up until Fjord became paladin, he was just as physically strong as the 3 foot tall, alcoholic goblin. And only slightly stronger afterwards. I love their banter so much
3:14 - Hilariously, I think Nott predicted the future right from the start. Ever since Fjord went from “giddyup” to “onward, chaps!” Caleb’s been the one calling most of the shots. It’s kind of interesting just how quickly the leadership dynamic changed after Fjord threw Uk’otoa’s ass in the garbage. I’m super curious to see if there’s even a leader at all by the end of the campaign!
Beau's been stepping up too, though Caleb's connections with the Assembly and Essek have been of more use lately. I have no doubt Caleb coming out of his shell will take a backseat here with Traveler-con coming up. This campaign is more of a cartoon serial in that each character is getting a chance to step up and take the lead.
reading this comment is really interesting, because fjord really did step down as leader for a while, letting beau and caleb take it up, until the whole eyes of nine thing happened. then fjord kind of took up that mantle again, but ... differently. (also the whole "yasha and fjord stayed with caleb and beau when they would split off in case they turned evil" still makes me sad to think about)

As I've just been noticing it fairly recently, I think my favorite cast interactions are when Liam reaches across Marisha (or Laura in the first campaign) and directly interacts with Travis.
Anyone else find it a little hilarious 2 out of 3 locks for Uk'otoa have been unlocked and all that Fjord got out of it was the ability to control a small amount of water?

Watching back to Nott reacting to coming up from out of water screaming “I’ll kill you all!” Makes me so incredibly sad. It’s funny in the moment because no one has context, but the context of that trauma and that likely being a reaction to the trauma is incredibly heartbreaking

This is honestly probably the best way to avoid meta-gaming aside from literally walking out the room. Surprised that Travis is the only one that does this from what I’ve seen.
I love that you added in the tender moments too They are nice, and also remind us that these are friends that care about each other (hard to believe at times, I know 😛) "Fjord, I'm sorry I always called you weak, but that is only because I know you are strong enough to take it"
I know it was a recent live session, but seeing that scene again, before the transformation attempt, Nott apologizing to Fjord almost brings a tear to the eye. And I think almost in Travis's eyes too
One of my favorite Might Nein dynamics. They’re both so witty back and forth, but you can also tell that they have fun and do like each other. Nott and Fjord are like your two friends that bicker endlessly and then are also always laughing their asses off at each others’ comebacks.
This is delightful! I've watched the whole thing twice now, what an impressive compilation! I love them both, really don't understand why some people still think they genuinely dislike each other

Thank you. It's ok. I think people just have trouble hearing it and that's annoying for them. I reuploaded it with no music for them. They could be kinder but I do understand the annoyance :-)
7:40 my favorite scene between Nott and Fjord by far. Just a perfect convergence of plot lines and backstories to provide a really cathartic moment between the two.
I'm kind of wishing you'd included the battle clips where Nott/Sam pushed Fjord's/Travis's buttons. I remember at least one battle with a couple of incidents, but I don't think anyone has clipped it and I don't want to spend hours looking for it in the episodes.
@@sodawax3457 I probably can't (hence the hours of looking). The one I remember might have been a fight outside of a temple or something. Maybe under water..? Nott's HDYWTDT..?
