▶ About Dr Shehzad Saleem:
Dr Shehzad Saleem has been under the tutelage of Javed Ahmad Ghamidi since 1988 and is currently a Research Fellow of Al-Mawrid (www.al-mawrid.org). He has a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from UET Lahore, Pakistan and holds a PhD in the History of the Quran from the University of Wales, UK. He has authored books on Islam, Quran, Hadith and Character Building. He has also translated some works of famous Islamic scholars and exegetes Amin Ahsan Islahi and Javed Ahmad Ghamidi into English.

Yes you are very much right Doctor sahib revisiting such things are very important that jeopardize the authenticity of Qur'an and in current era of information such things are almost impossible to justify specially to our youth. And such rigid and wrong stand of our Schalors is creating distances between Deen's study and them.

@Dr Shehzad saheb,is there any point to discuss this topic,Devil's advocating is not possible, either you leave preservation of Quran, it means Allah failed on his promise which is not fathomable or Bukhari &Company is obvious liar, Nobody knows for sure , exactly what happened , as you suggested Prophet could do it, I believe by my understanding of Quran, he could not, Messenger is not supposed to change the message, reject the whole nonsense.

Messenger is not authorized to change but duly authorized to interpret. Does it make any sense when people asked question from the last and final messenger about any verse and he replied in retuen the same verse? Without any interpretation?
