I personally really like the merrel in white and black marbled but I can’t get over the fact that the yeezy foam runner looks like a bionacle’s foot. 😂
This was a great video overall; straightforward and professional talking, plenty of pictures, in depth details and points of interest, and a touch of humor. Way above other channels where the guy just goes “yeah it’s dope.. um.. sick colorway.. now here’s me wearing it with sweatpants while I play a lil uzi song” good stuff man! Planning to watch more of your videos!
Plastic slides still stick in my head as the "cheap plastic zorri" Gibson mentions in the original Johnny Mnemonic short story. You might be interested in Fused Footwear. They're 3d printed single material shoes and they will take them back in a return programs where old busted shoes get recycled into filament to print new pairs. They come in at $145 US and have an expected lifespan of six months that includes a discount on reups when they eventually delaminate or get ground down or melted on hot summer tarmac.
Hello from Manila! Just got interested in tech wear and discovered your channel. Taking my time to watch every one so I can get more informed about tech wear in general. Loving all your videos so far. I noticed that you made videos on the best bag and cargo pants materials but have not made a video on the best jacket materials. Perhaps there is a video I missed or maybe it is just the same as cargo pant materials but it would surely be interesting to see a video comparing jacket materials since jackets are a main focal point in the tech wear ensemble. Keep up the great work, Antwon!:)
Crocs LiteRide Clog are doing a great job, I guess. They got all the durability from the original crocs but without those coin-diameter ventilation holes. And the literide technology🦾 interior brings them feeling soft as marshmallow while walking.
there used to be these very comfortable cushy slippers by crocs in a non-croc style but unfortunately were discontinued. they are the most comfortable lounge outdoor slippers i’ve ever tried. tried their later models and not the same. so, my criteria now is they have to be that cushy and with a techwear style before i’d consider another pair. if it’s just the look without the cush then not a buy from me. mine are still going strong. aside from slippers, the other styles would need have a good hold on the feet.
I have a pair of OG Black Crocs for summer garden stuff, but yeah they would never get past the front gate 😂 Picked up the North Face EQBC slides earlier this year as a proper summer going-out piece and they have a lot better aesthetics (get those tech buckles hell yee), something I wouldn't mind so much being seen in. Comfiest 'round the house' shoe I have is the NIKE ACG Moc 3.0, a fusion of tech and grandads slippers - I picked them up on a ridiculous deep sale point just because I was part intrigued / past horrified, but they turned out to be a solid purchase and one of my favourite 'not styling today' kicks. Just a note for folks not wanting to pay big money for the Yeezy-style slipons; there are a billion 'Cheap from China' AliX Knockoffs out there, and I'm guessing unlike a KO actual shoe that requires lots of effort to get right / lots of places to cut cornersand go wrong, the KO Yeezys will probably be 99% as good. (peeping that AOKU tee, cool choice)
imma get the Diplo Crocs with the tie dye colors and mushroom giblets soon! They look soooo fucking sick! Even better than the Post Malone Crocs which are sick
I'm surprised that Keen's Newport sandals weren't mentioned in the video. They look similar to the Hoka One One Hopara, but with a sleeker sole. The Newport sandals have the same retail price, but most styles are currently on sale for less.
What do you mean? The quilted leather slip ons? Those don't even fit here, they're chunky and somewhat clog like, but they're more of a fall shoe, the shoes on this list you can take to the outdoors, pool, etc. Beaters, you'll look goofy with padded leather clogs at a pool, but if you're looking for pricy options, the Rick Owens Birkenstock Boston clogs are closer in shape and far more breathable, although still not good for pools or outdoors
I’ve got a similar age pair of olive Crocs that I bought a decade ago for visiting a couple of waterparks when on holiday. I still wear them, but only to put the washing out. If I was to replace them I’d go for a pair of EVA Birkenstock Arizona’s. In olive again, of course
Not if you buy them in the right size and use the band that goes behind and slightly above your heel. Worn mine indoors for a year, can even jog in them.
