Thank you for your question. (dc 2, Chain 2, dc 2) into the same Chain 2 space - is called a shell. And these shells will be the increases. this is what round 6 should look like: Round 6: sl st into the next stitch, Chain 3 (counts as first dc), dc into the next 2 stitches, make a shell into the next Chain 2 space, dc into the next 3 stitches (now you have 5 dc on each side of the chain 2), (skip 2 stitches and make dc in to the top of the next 3 stitches, make a shell into the next Chain 2 space, dc into the top of the next 3 stitches) x 7 = [80 dc] Finish with sl st into the top of the first chain 3.
@@amigurumi_joys thank you so much for your detailed reply. If I understand this correctly it's the number of DC on each side of the chain that increases correct? So if I carry on beyond row 6 I will then have to DC in the next 4 stitches and so on? Apologies if it's a bit of a dumb question, I'm not that advanced at crochet
