Thank you so much for demonstrating this lovely Suzette Stitch. I was looking for a stitch that has no defined pattern without wasting yarn and this one suits me so perfectly. I am making a multicolored scarf for a friend in Great Britain. I had him select the colors he wanted and how I'm going to work it is in two colors together, like black and white yarn together. I think that will be attractive. Thanks again.😊
I'm almost finished crocheting a cardigan and have insufficient to do another one, but this is the answer to use up the remaining yarn with a great project. Thank you. Hugs from South 🇦🇺.
You are correct with the estimated time scale 😊 with chunky yarn and a large hook, I made this lovely scarf for my husband throughout one morning, but instead of brown and cream, I’ve crocheted in a mixture of light/dark green and white. Thank you for the lovely tutorial
I know this is an older video, but I had to comment. It’s all so well taught, but my favorite part is when you mention how you’re working into the stitch that is slightly smaller. I noticed this as I was crocheting along, and then you said it was the single crochet that was smaller, and I was so relieved, and it’s so easy to see where you need to go as you move along with the project, and confirm you’re working correctly. Thank you so much for everything you do.
I'm glad I found this recent comment. Question, what size yarn and what size hook did you use for a blanket? I have weight 5 bulky and tried a 6.5mm hook (label recommended a 5.5mm) but seem too stiff for a blanket. I don't have a 7mm so considering using a 8mm to achieve nice drape. Thoughts? Thank you.
I have recently started following you and absolutely love your tutorials. You are an excellent guide in the world of crochet. Clear instructions, great visual. Please keep the videos coming. So appreciative!
Thank you so much for the very easy to follow directions. Since I saw this video, I’ve made 5 scarves for my grandchildren’s teachers for Christmas gifts!
Robin, I'm so glad I found your tutorials. I can't read a pattern so I found using tutorials are my thing, but sometimes it's hard to follow along with them. Yours are always amazing....so glad I found you... Thank you so much for all your help. Wish I would have had this when I was younger...but this old girl is learning amazing things!!! Happy crocheting my dear!!!!
!!Lefties!! Don't panic!! You'll crochet those singles into the bigger hole BUT it still works out with this wonderful lady's instructions 🥰🥰 Thank you Robin!! Love and appreciate you lass!!
4:20 minutes in and I love the clarity with which you showed and explained where the stitch starts, at the back bumps. I am usually lost or confused at this part in many tutorials. Thank you - I appreciate the clarity and look forward to making this scarf very soon! ❤
The first time I tried this I struggled. And put it away for a bit. When I tried it again it worked beautifully what a super edge. Will use that tip again.
Oh my when I lose my cro-jo Beautiful Robin saves the day!!! Thank you. I could never get tired of listening to your voice... Love your videos and knowledge!!! Thank you...
Wow! Never thought of using this stitch with bulky yarn! Presents just a lot a quicker to finish-got a hat tutorial for this stitch?😉 Thank you so much for this tutorial!😃
Hello Robin. I recently started crocheting again and I found your channel. This is a beautiful scarf and it looks quite easy to crochet. I subscribed to your channel and I will be watching your videos for new project ideas and how to learn new stitches. All the best from here in the USA 🇺🇸☺ 🧶
I m loving to crochet and knit work in my free time. I have made a knitting muffler recently and a v shaped shawl. After i watched your video I just loved the way you tutor so easy to understand step by step. Thanks for your superb explanation ☺️
You never cease to amaze me. Thank you very much!! I just bought some bulky yarn to make a scarf, and when I got home, I went blank. I had no idea what I was going to do. Now I know!! You are awesome and truly appreciated!!
Thank you for this, Robin!! My husband surprised me with 3 skeins of bulky yarn, so this is perfect! It’s the kind of pattern that you can just let your mind settle and enjoy how fast your project is working up. Thank you again. Hope you have a wonderful day and week!! 🙏🏻🧶🙏🏻🧶🙏🏻
That is amazing Denise, I want my husband to surprise me with yarn.😂 It definitely is a great project, I’m glad you’re enjoying it. Have a wonderful week too!🥰
@@HookedbyRobin I was extremely surprised, to say the least. He said he was proud of me bc I told him I have too much yarn and I wouldn’t buy anymore for 2 months. So, he felt bad bc I have only purchased 1 skein in the last 5 weeks. 😂 I also really LOOOOVVVEE this scarf. I am about to tied the 3rd ball in. Debating on using 5 or stop at 3. 🤔
@@HookedbyRobin oh my goshhhhh!!! Just got done!! Quick, easy, fun to make, cozy, gorgeous, just wow 🤩!! I am just loving it!! I used 4 balls and will weave in the ends when I get home from work!!! Thank you again, Robin!! I love it!! ❤️ Now to decide which of your projects to crochet next. There’s so many that I have on my list!! 🥰
I'm not the best at following written patterns so i often turn to videos to guide me, and out of all the creators i have watched you are certainly the most helpful, very clear instructions! Thanks!
This is working up lovely with my Hayfield spirit chunky and and size 6 hook ❤. I love it. Super easy, fast but looks really impressive. Thank you for pointing out about working into the smallest of the stitches. I wouldn't have even noticed at first but I can see after a few rows that it becomes obvious which stitch you go into which really speeds things up. I do love useful tips like this 😊
Just found your channel. I've been crocheting for years. I don't know how you've done it, but you have somehow managed to find stitches I had never seen before. Thank you🌻. The suzette stitch is just what I was looking for, a stitch that will warm but not too dense. I'm going to make a hat with it as well. So now you've got one more happy subscriber. 😊
Love this stitch. I'm a Newby but I watched video twice thru and went forth ❤. Thank you for your time and talent. Didn't have chunky yarn, but I'm busting a stash of of Debbie Bliss cashmerino using a 5.0mm hook.
Wonderful video yet again - thank you so much. This scarf has such a lovely touchy feely texture - an amazing stitch and really easy to do, with both rows being the same.
What a simple, pretty stitch and scarf. I think it would take me longer than 3 hours but I am certainly going to give this a try. Thanks for such a clear tutorial..
I started learning to crochet this summer by watching videos here on RU-vid. Your videos have been some of the most helpful and easy to follow! Thank you so much for all the lovely designs and clear advice
It took me about 15 hours but I used size 4 yarn and and an I hook. Also changed yarn frequently so had lots of ends to weave in and added tassels. Very pleased with it.
Another Fabulous and Gorgeous tutorial and crochet stitch! I Love this scarf! I think I’m visualizing Christmas gifts with this pattern! Many Thank You’s, Robin, for always sharing your creativity and inspiration! Kind Regards from Texas
Hello Robin! I really enjoyed your scarf tutorial. It absolutely did work up easily and I love the way the foundation chain and the end look. I was thankful that I found your tutorial because it worked well with the yarn I purchased on a whim because I just couldn’t pass it up. I’m a fan of your channel. Thanks 😊
Ah thank you Robin! Exactly what I was looking for. A satisfying quick project. I’m in a craft show next weekend so surfing for super quick projects. I can always count on your channel. Love from Upper East Tennessee ❤
Ohhh, that is such a pretty stitch. I have some bulky yarn that I wasn't sure what to do with.....but now I know exactly what I'm going to do with it. Your tutorials are always so awesome! Thank you so much!!
@@HookedbyRobin I wish I could post you a picture. It was a beautiful hombre red beige gray candy cane chunky. Bits of weight run through it. It’s a gift for my daughter for Christmas
What a beauty well, you can crocheted in three hours. I don’t know if I could do as proficiently as you can, and that’s without lit up and not letting go of the hook. I’ve been crushing for decades so it’s caught up with me and I can tell by your hands you’re young congratulations on your ability I’ve met a few people Knigge Crochet fantastic speeds, but I’ll keep on following because you’re you’re creative
This is a gorgeous stitch and scarf. Thank you so much for this, you are a very good teacher, very easy to see what you are doing and you are very clear in your speech and instructions. Cheers!
I’m doing a crochet along with your tutorial and it was so easy to follow along. I usually just read a pattern and go from there, but thought I would this a try. Thank you for your great tutorial! ☺️
Thank you so much. You showed us beautiful designs and tempted to do more and more. You are amazing. Sparing your time and teach us so much. May God bless you ❤️🤗 Stayblessed.
@@HookedbyRobin Well , I decided I wanted this for a sweater, but with a rib knit turtleneck and sleeve cuffs. I've been knitting those. So much for for putting down my knitting.
@@HookedbyRobin I couldn't knit to save my life until a few weeks ago. I learned how to knit Continental style from RU-vid and it finally clicked. I've been crocheting since I was 5.
It took me right at three hours!:) So straightforward, beautiful stitches. Now... let’s all take a moment to recognize how wonderful it is to squish 🧶;) yarn;);)
