Thank you so much for this tutorial. If I could do it, I would do a jig😉. I have trouble finding all stitches in a long chain, but now I can put a border in immediately & have it on edges. Thanks again. Beautiful pattern. By the way I'm a lefty also.😊

Hi Alison, I just had to get on here and tell you that I love love love this pattern!!! I just finished a prayer blanket using this stitch. You are so right!! It's a beautiful stitch and it's made a beautiful blanket to take to someone in the hospital ( my pastor takes the blankets we make to the hospitals and gives them to different people in our congregation that are in the hospital) I'm left handed and self taught to crochet. Thank you so much for this video and this beautiful stitch!!! God bless you with many many more videos.

yes i am left handed and i have finally learned to crochet by watching right handed but i would rather watch left handed videos but there havent been enough to watch. So i woud love to see more designs and different articles you do like scarves, hats, vests etc if possible. i love your pattern here and thank you so much for showing this and i can follow you easy.

That's great! i intend to upload my whole catalogue of blankets, some will still have the intro right handed BUT HOW TO DO THE STITCHES AND PATTERNS WILL BE LEFT version. I found out how to mirror image and flip the video for left handed crochet.

You are so welcome! this on works up so fast and looks amazing in any yarn try it with a hook 2 sizes bigger it comes out all light and lacy

@@AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel oh! Good Idea!! My last one I worked in Lion Brand Mandala, used a 5 mm hook. It has been by far my favorite! I actually added the border to the side instead of along with the top & bottom, I just did 6 chains instead of 5 on the sides. It really doesn't need a border on the sides but I accidentally made it longer than wide, therefore I needed the top and bottom to become universal🤯 LOL 🤪. I know rookie move LOL 😂 🤣...I have only been crocheting for about 6 months LOL 🤪 but the border looks alright. I slip stitched every first and last cluster into middle of the clusters. It turned out ok, u don't see the slip stitch or if u do it looks similar to a V or single crochet. If u have a better placement for the slip stitch or for a border up the sides plz let me know! I will happily send u pictures, just need to know how to get them to u. Thank you again for your patience and making sure we all are able to follow along and as always for the lefty's! 😉🥰

make a chain in sets of 4 do your first set of clusters into the 4th stitch in your chain skip 3 then do a cluster all the way along that should work out, put a cluster in the last stitch in your foundation chain, then follow the tutorial for the nest rows. (if you have 1 or 2 extra stitches at the end of your foundation row just pick them out)

This was less than 200g I can't remeber exactly but it wasnt any more than 2 x 100g as most of the stadard size I do is 200g or less. that way I'm not taking too much time doing big big blankets.
